Not sure if I should be worried or happy to see GILD here.

  • Determining Gilead's Fair Value [View article]
I was waiting for this kind of article. Those calculations are very interesting. I think GILD will outperform estimations of 24% (per annum) 5 year growth. Sovaldi barely started with only US and slowly EU countries. Future is Japan, EU, more US sales and other countries in the world. Even countries like Egypt and India (1.2B+ population) where Sovaldi will be sold at 99% discount to US price will add hundreds of mln $. Also look at the pipeline. This company will be big! I think we are going parabolic with GILD. Disclosure: Long GILD since 74$.

  • Why Gilead Is The Most Exciting Growth Opportunity In 2014 [View article]
Because Sovaldi is longer on the market and it is easier and safer to prescribe something that is better known, longer used, tested and proven that it works well. First in the market always has advantage.

This 900$ price is only for Egyptians and Indians, not for Americans/Europeans and rest of world.

  • Gilead Sciences Looks Like A Contrarian Short [View article]
Very bad article, clearly biased against GILD. You point to survey and you say that only 2.2 mln in US are infected but why do you assume lower range? Your link says 2.2-3.2 mln: "The study released yesterday put the range of those infected with the virus in the U.S. at 2.2 million to 3.2 million".

Secondly emerging markets might not add that much but still it would be hundreds of millions $ - quite a lot. You forgot about very rich Japan with large population (Sovaldi treatment not available yet), European Union where Sovaldi barely started being sold and many other countries.

Third. You say that all good news is priced in but you don't have any reason to prove it. Apple was below 400$ in 2013 and there were analysts at this time that were saying all good incoming news like deal with China Mobile was priced in and stock will tank to 200$. Now it is near 700$.

Have a nice day. Long GILD.

  • Call Writing Strategy Part 35 - (LVS) Expiration & EBay Options Sold [View instapost]
    Hi, Fear & Greed Trader,
    sorry but I'm better (:.
I don't understand very well those options things so for now I'm only opening regular long positions. Since 2013 March 6th I made 43% on all my money but the thing is that I had invested around 33% at March 2013, then I added similar amount of money to my broker account in September 2013 (doubled my March money) and also bought some stocks, then added similar amount of money in April 2014 (almost tripled deposited money from March). Now dividing amount of money I have now on my broker account (including open positions) by amount of money I did deposit on my broker account I got increase of +43%. Not so bad for first 1+ year of investing of total newbie like me :). It is mainly because I did follow you so big thanks and good luck to you :). You are the best! I think you were the first one I did click follow on SA, I was very lucky!

Interesting company. I will consider it for diversification. I saw that on this website I recently discovered LVS is also strong buy: . Funny to see GILD is 3rd best Mega Cap on their list with score 95% despite they have outdated data with GILD's P/E 33.

Wrong. Look at earnings, not revenue. Gilead has much higher margins 85+%!

I don't agree. You will revise this low price target 120$ before 2014 ends.

  • Weekly Intelligence For MLP Investors [View article]
I have question about dividends from stocks like EMES. I heard that you need to file some K-1 forms... but I'm investor from Europe. Will I get this dividend like from other stocks (for example:AAPL) and my broker will substract 15% tax or should I file some form? I'm confused.

  • The Day I Sold Everything [View article]
"On the other hand, there are whispers of a faltering economy, another recessionary period, and a howling cacophony from pundits that the end is near."

So you sold everything because most of the articles are predicting crash? This is indicator to be bullish. I would only sell all my stocks when there will be euphoria on market and there isn't at this moment.

It is down because stock market doesn't make any sense in short term. I'm waiting for Sovaldi sales figures from Japan.
