Office Depot (ODP) and OfficeMax (OMX) are in talks to merge, according to The Wall Street Journal. If a deal gets hashed out, synergies for the combination of the two office supply retailers could be as high as $700M, which is over a third of their combined market cap. [View news story]

If rumors are true about the next generation consoles (PS4 and 720) requiring online connections AND MS/Sony selling games digitally through stream, then start hammering the nails down on GME. They are even talking about disallowing reselling of used games, which is a big part of Gamestop's business.

The site adds the phone will use an aluminum body and be sold by AT&T later this year. The 808's camera was widely praised, but its use of Symbian and a mediocre display hampered sales. Same boat as you. However, my divies have put me at around even, which makes an exit here very much an option. It has been a very frustrating 2 years owning this stock and I don't think I can take any more.
There plenty of other comparable REITS out there with just as high a yield, without all the sleepless nights. I mean c'mon, how much time do you really need to produce the report? I think I'm done.
I currently own 10 Jan 2013 $2.50 calls (bought for $0.25). Looking to add to my position, should I keep playing the options at this point or get the stock outright on dips?

Mass market won't be jumping on Nokia until the Windows app store catches up to Android and iOS in quantity. Developer support is slowly coming over but it needs to happen faster. Remember, smartphones are like computers and game consoles. If you don't have the app support, it's dead in the water.
