The lower it goes the more I like it.

  • Curious COT Report For Gold [View article]
As the name implies, small specs are just that small, therefore what they do has no influence on the market. What I see is plenty of large spec selling no surprise given gold's recent price action.

  • EIA May Soon Lower Natural Gas Production Forecast [View article]
It's a long way to summer, first we need to make it through the low demand spring season.

  • EIA May Soon Lower Natural Gas Production Forecast [View article]
Despite the cold last week, Y/Y consumption flat but production continues to grow. Makes me wonder happens when warmer temps arrive.

  • Is It Finally Time To Buy Natural Gas? [View article]
My concern is this is the 2nd or third bullish natural gas article which usually means prices continue lower. In general, buying opportunities happen when everyone hates the underlying and want nothing to do with it. Don't think we are at that level with NG yet.

  • Natural Gas Rebound Fizzles Despite Arctic Cold, Lower Prices Loom [View article]
Y/Y total gas supplies 10.06% higher, 7.65% from dry production, what do you think happens to price when we enter the low demand spring shoulder with rising supplies?

  • Natural Gas Rebound Fizzles Despite Arctic Cold, Lower Prices Loom [View article]
Let's keep it simple, first price needs to get over 2.762 and so far it can't even do that. Until that happens more downside is likely.

  • Growing Glut Could Push Natural Gas Below $2 As Winter Fades [View article]
You are right, forget the 2.000 print, make it 1.000 if we get an early spring followed by a cool summer like last year with all this random production.

  • Surging Natural Gas Production Negates Demand Triggered By Cold Temps [View article]
Perhaps market can't rally because there is just too much supply in what should be the coldest month of winter.

  • Is The Fed Buying Stocks? [View article]
Appreciate the kinds words CG. Yes that's right, very possible we could see more weakness ahead although downside price momentum has stalled of recent. With shorts sitting on sizable gains, one might think they would be quick to cover if prices look like they will advance. I don't see anything on the charts that says buy crude with both hands yet however.

  • Is The Fed Buying Stocks? [View article]
Lawrence, Yes that's right, shorts specs did enter but more longs left the trade. Despite the sell off, specs are still notably long so we could easily see lower prices.
