Doubtful as sellers couldn't get a settlement under 130.00, if they can't do that now what would make it easier for it to sell off later? As far as long term bull markets go, coffee bottomed out around 40.00 in 2002 and topped out in 2011 just under 3.100, sure looks bullish to me.

Several years, recently from 2005 to 2009 market reacted to that level, would liked to have seen how that level held up on a downside challenge guess won't find out now due to nice recovery in prices this week.

Here is my take on gold, it was a crowded trade on the long side in a downtrend from the last failure to exceed 1,800. This time however, counter trend rallies were unable to break out of the downtrend which further motivated the sellers. It was only a matter of time before more longs sold. I have 1436 as likely downside target but that level won't matter if there is more liquidation.
More on Nonfarm payrolls: January and February payrolls are revised higher by a combined 61K, taking some of the sting out of the big headline miss. Average workweek +0.1 to 34.6 hours. Not correct, commercials are net short by -69,060 and large specs net long by 65,040, that's why we are trading shy of 4.000, funds are buying. The longer we stay at these levels increases the risk of profit-taking when these longs sell for whatever reason.

First prices need to get back over 3.965 which is turning out to be a struggle at present, if it can do that, next upside is 4.257 so it might be a while before we see that level, let alone 4.500.

The move up in NG from the Feb lows was mainly due to short-covering and all it will take is one inventory miss to result in profit-taking which could easily take prices under 3.500. Its not a question of if this will happen but when.

I wouldn't sell this market just yet, still too many shorts in a rising market approaching new highs (of the move) which could result in more short-covering easily putting 4.000 within reach.
