  • First Japanese Consumption Growth Since April 2014 Tax Hike Boosts JPY Prospects [View article]
Charts suggest otherwise, in particular $/yen needs to break 122.26 support then take out 120.00 to make a bullish case for the Yen. So far not happening.

So the fed is going to raise interest rates not once but twice this year? Yeah sure, believe it when I see it.

I don't believe the fed is going to hike rates especially next week, but the algo's don't know that so they sell going into fed meetings, nothing new here. Of course, if the fed does surprise the market with something then could easily see more selling as recent support is around 30 lower. Implied volatility is still low so calls are a great way to play this potential bounce.

As the name implies, small specs are just that small, therefore what they do has no influence on the market. What I see is plenty of large spec selling no surprise given gold's recent price action.

  • Is It Finally Time To Buy Natural Gas? [View article]
My concern is this is the 2nd or third bullish natural gas article which usually means prices continue lower. In general, buying opportunities happen when everyone hates the underlying and want nothing to do with it. Don't think we are at that level with NG yet.
