Wow. This is a fairy tale article if I have ever read one. This is absolutely not about liquidity, and has everything to do with solvency. If you think the PIIGS can continue to fund debt with next to zero growth all the while running massive deficits, you may be running into a liquidity issue very soon if you are investing under that belief. Once one bank goes under, it will cripple the entire EU and run its contagion tenticles back into the US and most likely lead to QE3.
There is a reason no fiat currency has ever last much more than 40 years. When did we come off the gold standard again?? Oh yeah....
