I don't think straddles can make money here ...The stock has to move above 5 to 6 points up or down before you start to make money. Look at how much each contract cost at the money.
This stock is heavily shorted which is something we knew for a long time. All I can say, Other competitors like Crocs missed on Revenue but came inline on EPS. I was also looking at NKE but you can't really compare NKE to DECK because NKE is more diversified.
DECK makes most of their money from UGG shoes and thats 88%. My view I think they will miss, however miracles could happen, but i am bearish on the stock and think could go lower.
You should of never bought the stock through open markets. I am looking to get into sky works .... However what I did is I sold a naked Jan 15 - 20 strike put and received a 4.60 for it ...now all I have to do is wait until it gets exercised. I believe a $20 a share is a good fair value for it.

I do understand what are calendar spreads however, could you please give an example on appl at the current stock price. Also, Why would you sell 4 calendar spreads ? ok .. from what I understood (using puts) is you buy one put 665 (current price) lets say OCtober expiry and you sell 4 contracts September 7th (660, 650, 635, 610). is that right ? or am I understanding you wrong.
if that is the case, if the stock drops lets say by 15 or 20 bucks in that week, then I lost money if not end up flat .... however if the stock shoots up then I gained money but losing on my premium from the put I bought .... still end up flat ... or a small loss.

What do you mean "the stock is unlikely to fall" ?? are you kidding, the stock will fall if the market keeps falling, and at the moment the market is in free fall. Look at RHT, CTXS, TDC, and FFIV, they all beat earnings, and raised guidance. Due to the market, they all lost their earnings gains and more. And by the way, those companies have no debt and a lot of cash flow.
Greece is killing the market, and will keep killing it for another 4 weeks or so. Greece is killing global growth. Please don't say the stock is unlikely to fall because it will fall further if the US market keeps dropping. Don't forget CRM has high Volatility, therefore the stock has a chance to fall faster and further than others.
Overall, We are still headed lower. I know May is bad for the stock market, but this has been the worst may ever.
