  • Medical Marijuana's Journey To $0: CannaVEST Payment Was Worthless [View article]
Exactly what I've been saying in my comments for a while now... Anyone who is paying close attention to the situation probably sold most or all of their MJNA shares before these articles even started. You guys seem pretty smart, but you keep saying the same things over and over again and focusing on this one stock when there are some others out there which you don't seem to pay any attention to.

  • Medical Marijuana Inc.: Whistling Dixie, Blowing Smoke [View article]
Sigh... Alan and Ashraf.. You guys may be wrong, you may be right but either way you're beating the heck out of a dead horse and you're jerks for that. Why don't you start looking at other marijuana related companies instead of just harping on and on about this one?

  • Buying Medical Marijuana? You Are Being Robbed [View article]
The reason people don't grow their own tobacco is because it is difficult to grow and requires a lot of space. Weed can be grown indoors and a quality product can be had with a few hundred dollars for equipment and some simple care.

People who do grow their own tobacco generally produce high quality leaf for their own cigars and pipes. The difference between quality tobacco and cigarette tobacco is like 18 year old Islay single malt vs. gut-rot moonshine.

And the difference between growing a high quality marijuana at home or purchasing some is huge.

Reverse splits... Can't believe they're even legal.

All I wonder is who is perpetrating the pump and dump, and why. The products are high quality, the potential is huge... I doubt the mgt would do it for a quick buck. Perhaps it's being engineered by crooks, or even (dare I say) government types? I sold at around $0.36 but decided to hold onto around a thousand shares just in case.

  • Medical Marijuana, Inc. Is Bad For Speculators, Great For Investors [View article]
Thank you! Marijuana in general is good and it should never have been illegal in the first place. I agree it will take a long time for serious gains to be realized. Sure, some things may seem 'shady' but remember: This is still a mostly cash-only industry! MWIP (Mediswipe) is working to change that. On a side note, MWIP is also working to provide legal protection and confidentiality between provider and patient, whereas right now patient records are stored in folders or hard drives at dispensaries and guess what? When the feds raid a dispensary, they steal all that info *legally*! This needs to change and it will.
I live in Alaska, where you can grow and smoke in your home even if you're not a medical patient! I believe Alaska actually fully legalized dope between 1970 and 1990. We grow some serious bud up here and before you make jokes about igloos, Anchorage is a city of nearly 300,000 and that's nothing to scoff at.
While reading this article, I was wondering to myself if MJNA would experience a jump in stock price on 4/20, but then I realized 4/20 is this Saturday. Oh well. Anyone in Alaska want to meet up and blaze some trees this Saturday? :-)

  • Is Gold Useless - Part III [View article]
I thought gold was in a bubble back when I was 16! And it was only $300/oz then. Anyway, one thing I've wondered... Why don't people who are scared of stocks invest in gem quality diamonds?

  • Why Medical Marijuana Inc. Has Lost Its Buzz [View article]
I agree that the author is coming from the right place with these articles, telling people to be cautious based on his research.
Hey Alan, how do you feel about Mediswipe (MWIP)? They seem to be filling a very important niche in the weed industry. Personally, how an industry which has technically existed for over 5000 years can be 'the new kid on the block' is beyond me. Pot should never have been illegal in the first place. This industry in general is going to do very well in the long run, but it will probably be a very, very long run. There are still monsters out there who believe sick people shouldn't have medicine... Oh well. At least it's legal for me to grow dope for my scoliosis here in Alaska! And boy, do we have some quality stuff up here!

  • Medical Marijuana (MJNA.PK +17.2%) rallies after reporting Q1 gross revenue of $8.45M (+66% Q/Q and +377% Y/Y) and net income of $5.52M. The company adds it plans to deliver a 24-month audit history of its financials by the end of Q2, and asserts it has "positioned itself to become fully reporting" with the SEC once the audit history is complete. MJNA plans to reports its audited Q1 financials by May 15. (PR[View news story]
Nice... Still, with a 15%+ jump (which will no doubt trigger a pull back) it's still about half what it was not very long ago. I sold high (No pun intended, although I probably was high at the time come to think of it...) but I still hold some shares... Investing in medical mary-jane is simply the right thing to do. It's just plain stupid how insanely long it's taken for something so obviously beneficial to finally start to gain some acceptance. My kudos to everyone who's in this for the long-haul!! To everyone who sold purely to take profits: Screw off. And to every politician who still believes a medicine that *helps friggin' cancer patients eat friggin' food* should be illegal: Burn in hell... Go MJNA! Go medical mary industry in general... And some other good stocks to check out in this sector are MWIP and CBIS... MWIP in particular seems to be filling a very unique and dire hole in this industry... How an industry that's over 5000 years old can be in its infancy is beyond me; I guess it really does take a lifetime of hard work to become an overnight success!!!

  • Medical Marijuana Inc.'s Recent Transaction And Guidance Raise Questions [View article]
"Unfortunately, much of the expected sales growth in 2013 appears to be tied to a transaction that raises a lot of questions."

This is a valid concern. However, the vast majority of MJNA's expected growth is tied to the public's growing acceptance of *marijuana*.

This is more of a bet on tolerance, a bet on compassion, a bet on understanding, a bet on... Sheesh... It's not really a bet at all. It's a belief that in the long run, common sense will win out... Which doesn't seem all that far-fetched.

Hahaha, yup. I personally believe Big Pharma would be the lesser of three evils in this case because Big Tobacco is pretty much a culprit in the eyes of the public. They have no place selling medicine. Big Alcohol uses ads which glamorize sex and a 'party drug' atmosphere, which is not what marijuana is about. Big Pharma has a track record of screwing up but they do have big science behind them and they are generally held to a higher standard than Marlboro or Crown Royal. Tripp Keber has said he hopes to sell out to one of the T, A, P... And I hope it's Pharma. Although in a perfect world, marijuana would remain its own thing. By the way, your use of the term "T, A, and P" is hilarious. I was thinking of something totally different, which tastes better than weed, feels better than weed, but can get you into MUCH bigger trouble!!! Hahahahahaha!
