whitehead1: but the point is GT has better value. based on 2013 estimated earning GT trading at p/e around 4 and F is over 6.

rubberoptions: go to tirerack.com & most buyers think GT is priced too high for treadwear that run out too fast; damned by faint praises

rubberoptions: with gas in Nor. Cal @ $4.50 per gallon, most in the Mission district of San Francisco won't buy new tires; they'll just buy used tires
