  • Apple Investors Take Note - Samsung And Xiaomi Are On The Attack [View article]
    MB,

    You obstinancy in seeing value in APPL is beyond contrarian, bordering on a pathological need to see APPL fail at any cost (with help from your articles). This article's genesis was probably due to the recent announcement of investment in two European control centres! IMHO

  • Apple: Longer-Term Headwinds Make Blowout Quarter A Tough Act To Follow [View article]
    @MB
    Irregardless of all the pro and con arguments above, APPL now trades at $122 and is headed up. Fighting the market is bad for your financial health. The market has deeper pockets that you. Saying the same thing over and over again may prove right at some point but can you afford it?

  • Long BlackBerry, Short Apple Again In 2015 [View article]
    MB,
    I suggest that your next article review your actual and "paper" losses (or gains) from shorting or "puting" APPL to give your followers and detractors the actual results of your contrarian position. You put (pun intended) your money where your mouth is, but whT are the results?

  • Why Is Apple Undervalued? [View article]
    Wiesje, because APPL is buying its own stock and taking it out of circulation, then the earnings are spread among a lesser number of shares. If nothing else changes, i.e. earnings, P/E, etc., then the stock price must go up. Not a 100% guarantee that the stock price will rise, but pretty close.

    10b5s have been likened to SEC approved insider trading because of all the flexibility allowed.

    Trade dates on preplanned sales can be adjusted. I don't believe that TG knew to make 9/8 a sales date when the program was first set up! Also, hiding behing a NDA when presenting a quarterly doesn't hold water. Something smells.

  • Update: GT Advanced Technologies Applies For Chapter 11 Bankruptcy [View article]
    If what you say is true, then TG selling shares the day before is insider trading! These may have been "programmed sales," but sales dates can be adjusted.

    GTAT is going into restructuring bankruptcy, not chapter 7. APPL will get their money back, either all of it over a longer period or pennies on the dollar.

    Looks like a class action law suit to me based on sale by TG of shares because of insider information. I'm sure he had an inkling when he sold just before the APPL 9/9 announcement!

    Wouldn't that be trading on inside information, a nono with the SEC?

    GTAT is not a one-trick pony but has many irons in the fire. Concentrating only on sapphire is having tunnel vision with blinders. The company is changing from purely a crystal oven manufacturer for solar to fabricator and seller of many types crystals and other innovations. This process needs patience and conviction. GTAT is a l/t buy.

    I guess you don't fully appreciate the concept of program sales - diversification, estate or trust establishment or modification, etc. Or are you implying that they set up these sales programs to get around SEC insider information rules?
