Mr muoio or Krugman....whatever your name. You rant about the unfairness of our economic system while you enjoy the power and platform of liberty to do so. You fail in your entire analysis by excluding two minor absolutes. The purposeful debasement of the currency and marginal and effective rates. Give me one example of someone in the top bracket of 70% that actually paid the associated tax in real terms.

Try again by innovating and adding economic value to the greatest, most successful experiment ever conceived. My best wishes to you in your efforts to actually pay a 35% effective rate instead of hanging out at the union hall.

  • With Chesapeake's McClendon, It's Not Just Personal [View article]
The hostility toward AM is beyond belief. I dare say half of the negative energy expended above are from those who have no skin in the game and as for the shorts, go for it big boys the squeeze is coming. I know this company, and though AM is a wildcatter his IQ is twice that of those above and parallels the people that made the USA the richest country in history. Next year AC will silence your obviation when he exposes what's in a in a mammoth CHK warehouse at which time you will be permanently dragging your jaw between your legs. If not for men (emphasized) like AM and T Boone there would not be an independent Nat Gas or Oil business left in this country only enslavement to Exxon and the mid-east. Try having a little respect to those superior to yourself and learn something rather than attempting to be pseudo analysts.

  • Stop Selling Chesapeake Short [View article]
The bears will be begging for gas when Cheniere finishes it's first of five transport terminals in Sabine Pass. Not to mention those in Chicago and New Your freezing next winter and Paying 10 to 15 bucks pMC

We've done business with Aubrey for years on an executive level. Yes he's a cowboy banker with brains and never afraid to take a risk even a self serving one (which he's entitled to). For those of you from the east I'm sorry you don't get it. Oklahoma and Texas played a large part in financing the growth of this nation and while continue to do so.

I'm long and I'm a bull. The shorts are going to take it where it hurts....the shorts. I'm overweight and plan to add more.

  • Chesapeake Energy: A Long-Term Play On Natural Gas As An Automotive Fuel [View article]
Amazing people don't think about the the hazards of Lithium. Aside from your astute comments. Golf carts run on Lead Acid batteries which are toxic in themselves. The lithium case is at least 5 times larger and it's plates (lithium) are one of mans deadliest nureo toxins. Not much....only eight times more than nickle cadium. If a hybrid veicle is hit there is high probability of fire (chevy volt) and the high probibility of toxic leakage. The brillant brains at the EPA should be all over this. Every EPV that is in an accident will need a fully equipt HazMat team ,available (24/7), and the entire area will have to be cleaned including sewers, drains roads and gutters. If you add rain to the deadly mixture it may take weeks by the time the EPA approves the site for traffic. It's not cheap....about 40K additional cost to muncipalities for each accident that takes place. Aside from all that, our friend doesn't seem to realize that they while most likely be EVP is charged from a smoke spitting, coal fired generating plant. These unsafe, small little EVP's with lithium powered vehicles will do more harm than we can imagine.

    Land Owner,

As a Texan and CHK Stock Holder I'm sorry you fell prey to the land business. But your first mistake was one that Boone Pickens has said since the 60's. "He has never known the USGS to be accurate or close to right". This information is available at most universities which would be the best source. Which Buckeys have have some of the best. However, listening to the Government on any issue is truely a "shot in the dark"

  • Why Plunging Investor Sentiment and Consumer Confidence Index Aren't Cause for Concern [View article]
Great theroy! And for the most part true when retail investors or consumers are polled. However, you fail to detail explainations for mountains of uninvested cash in nearly every indicies and you don't name the studies used to support your claims.
