    update on FTE,
If my sources are correct they will release their Maiden Jorc on A238
this week, its worth noting this is the first time they will have some indicated levels, On Fridays close on LSE they were up 5.45% with a volume of 3.2M which is way above the daily average of 1.3M.
Whether this will be reflected on FTE.AX I don't know & in the current market its hard to work out, what effect even good news can have on the Shareprice, but its worth noting that FTE is very popular in th UK, as only AIM stocks which are dual listed are Isa Enabled, which means any gains on these stocks are tax free, this makes them very attractive to PI's in the UK. I know Chihawk has made so very valid points about there long term issues as regards the REE's, but at their current SP there is a chance of some good short term gains, A lot of Uranium miners have been & still are being heavily shorted. FTE has only 0.21% stock on loan.
    good luck & always DYOR.

    Rainh20,
Imo July might be a little to early to buy back, the Americans say sell in May & buy back on Labor Day(Sept 5th).
But are you right it very stressful choosing & holding shares at the moment, I think you might be able to buy the shares you are selling a lot cheaper in late August, unless they have very good news in between so good luck to you & it takes a lot of bottle to sell at a loss, so I hope it works out for you.

    tripleblack,
we seem to have the same trading method, last year i was quite happy to wait for 50% gain as picking stocks was like picking fish out of a barrel & always took out the original investment on 100%, lately I have taken as low as 10 % & considered myself lucky to get that.
so regards FTE i know I have 2 potential new driven spikes, the first being the A238 maiden jorc with some indicated levels & the bigger spike being the maiden jorc on REE in Q3, I have an average of 4.65p & I can easily see them getting to 9/10p with the ree jorc, but even if they only get to 7.5p that will be a 50% gain.
If you consider pre Japan they were on 8p with a broker target of 15p with no value to the ree, you can understand why they look cheap, what ever their sp on the ree jorc i will be top slicing hopefully, on a 100% gain & tax free as my holding is in my stock isa, as regards all of chihawk concerns, so far my contact on the bod has been very open about these, my reading of the situation is the ree's have kind have changed the script & has given them a bit of problem on what route to go down in the future, hence they have listed expert help to work out the best way forward, so whether they will become a U & REE player is not clear cut yet & lot depends on extraction costs & capex for the REE & since he has been very honest about the problems with water & environmental issues I will continue believe his belief in his own company is genuine.

    Chihawk,
forgot to add, water was one of the issued my contact said they would have to overcome but he didn't say exactly how, but he say there are seeking a lot of expert advise at the moment, before deciding on the best strategy for the future.

    tripleblack/chihawk,
Thank you for your replies I will certainly will be quizzing my contact
a lot more on the issues you have raised.
I afraid I am old enough to remember the tech bubble.
so my personal trading strategy is top slice when sat on a decent profit & try not let greed take over. so plan is to top slice fte after the ree jorc depending on sp.

    Chihawk,
I certainly find your comments interesting & you seem far for knowledgeable on ree's than my limited knowledge, it is my understanding FTE intend to separate the Uranium & the REE's
& process the uranium as U308 & Ree as a mixed oxide,
I believe this achieved by a leaching processes, which allows the uranium to be separated from the REE's.
But I do take your come comments on board, but like tripleblack has said I think the ree's are a by product of the Uranium & not the other way around.

    JIMP,
Since FTE is my largest holding, I'm probably not the best person to ask about them & my view is very biased & bullish, but it its certainly
not blinkered they are a high risk/ high gain share, but due to the relationship I have build up with them I do gain a valuable insight into what they are planning, the next bit of news will be the maiden JORC on A238 by the end of this month probably earlier & its worth remembering this is just one Anomaly on Mauritanian licence, That will be followed by a maiden Jorc on the REE content at Firawa in Q3.
So yes IMO they are very cheap & 40% cheaper than what the ii's
snapped them up at. But as always DYOR, but from your post I reckon you have already started & good luck if you decide to invest.

    Chihawk,
thank you for your reply & everyone is entitled to there own opinion & only time will tell how good or bad they are, but from my research & chats with the company, I can only tell it as I have found them, every time I have had a question it has been answered promtly & often far more detailed that I was expecting. So whether you believe in FTE or not, they certainly believe in themselves & I know what they are plans are for the future, so you can understand my anger when you called them a scam. I do believe in them & think their current SP is a bargain, but that is just my opinion.
Good luck to you what ever you are invested in as well.

    Chihawk,
Just one other vital point, you said they used the historic REE after the Japan crisis to save them from going under, may I suggest you look at the RNS from 21/12/2010
    * Results exceed initial sample announced on 22 November 2010
    * Forte to re-assay all samples with the objective of calculating a JORC compliant REE resource at Firawa in
addition to the existing uranium resource
So unless they had a 3 month early warning system for the tsunami
I'm afraid your comment was very misguided.
I think your comments on FTE were posted on the spur of the moment without little thought & meaning no harm, but if you make comments like that on a company you know very little about or done little research on then I'm afraid you must be prepared to be corrected. I'm certainly not saying FTE aren't a risky investment as nearly all these kind of investments are. But it is always wise to do some basic research for making such flippant remarks.

    hi Chihawk,
before you call FTE a scam, I suggest you speak to the company & do so in depth research on them, I have done both & I can tell you FTE have a great future, firstly they have there maiden jorc this month on A238 & that will contain some indicated levels rather than the usual inferred & that will be followed by their maiden jorc on the REE at Firawa in Q3, You also said they mentioned the REE stop them going under, what unfounded rubbish, they had a placement at 8p & are fully funded for at least 12 months & with a broker target of 15p with no value to the REE, I would say they are one of the best Junior miners to invest in especially at their current price
so how people can thank you for your insight is beyond me.
