Brett Tollman has over thirty years experience in the travel and tourism industry. Over these past three decades, Brett Tollman has transitioned from being a local hotelier to an international travel executive, with the goal of providing a high level of consistent quality of service, experiences and value for each client of the business. Born in South Africa, he currently resides in Los Angeles, California where he serves as President and CEO of The Travel Corporation (TTC).
Involved since the early nineties, Tollman has now taken The Travel Corporation, his family's longstanding global travel and hotel company, under his wing. The Travel Corporation includes more than thirty brands
in sixty countries and Brett Tollman is working hard to make it one of the leading niche travel companies. He takes pride in working hard to enhance TTC’s customer satisfaction and experiences, as well as keeping the company’s employees well-informed, motivated and updated on the latest developments in travel and within their business. Tollman is also currently CEO of Red Carnation Hotels, a hotel company under The Travel Corporation umbrella. The boutique hotel company runs 13 award-winning hotels in South Africa, Europe, and the United States.
Brett Tollman received a Bachelors of Science in Hotel Management at the acclaimed Cornell University. Prior to becoming head of The Travel Corporation, Brett Tollman accumulated years of management and leadership experience in the travel, hotel and tourism industries. He's worked his way up the corporate ladder at The Travel Corporation, previously serving in a number of varied capacities; in 2010 Brett Tollman was appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Tollman also previously served as President and COO of T-H Hotels, a private US company operating 150 popular hotels.
Other Professional Experience
Tollman and TTC are dedicated to helping protect iconic sites around the world. He is currently a director of The Travel Corporation's Conservation Foundation, a non-profit group devoted to preserving and restoring tourist sites and their local neighborhoods. Projects include supporting an initiative to clean up the Nile river in Egypt, to researching inbound tourism in Venice, Italy, to supporting the National Trust in Britain and a number of oceanic projects too. The Conservation Foundation receives monetary funding from The Travel Corporation group.
Aside from his eco-friendly contributions, Tollman is also a member of the Young President's Organization (YPO) alongside presidents of other companies throughout the international business world. He also participates in the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), which brings tourism leaders together to focus on challenges in the international tourism industry, with governments from around the world.
