  • Update: 3D Systems - Short Interest Reaches A New High, That Does Not Sound Good For The Bulls [View article]
Watch the action in DDD on a close above $53.75 charts indicate a run up, not down!

  • 3D Systems: Why A Short Squeeze Is Now More Likely [View article]
Another technical aspect to the potential short squeeze is the recent chart action, in particular the short term chart actio with the 5 minute to the sixty minute charts looking much improved. When the daily chart closes above the 50 moving average it will also look much more constructive as well. Then any kind of good news has the potential to add fuel to the fire and cause the squeeze to reach in earnest! Let's watch how this plays out in the upcoming weeks and months.

  • Sigma Labs: Filling In The Cracks Of 3-D Printing [View article]
I would encourage all my friends that look at the technicals to check out SGLB today and include the 50 day and 200 day moving averages on your charts. Looks like extremely good action on moderate volume if we close above $.14 today watch out.

    Jake,

I am long SGLB also, so I am biased. Thanks for the informative article on SGLB, I think that one of the factors many people are unaware of is the consistency and ability to self monitor that SGLB brings to the table with its technology. I am really interested to see where this company goes in the next few years!

  • 3D Systems prints robotic exoskeleton suit, shares rally [View news story]
For those of us who have been reading and studying the 3D printing world the past few years we know that the potential of the technology is almost limitless... Imagination seems to be the only limiting factor. We will be amazed as new technology in 3D printing keeps rising to the surface.

I wouldn't be overly critical of Gary's recommendations or opinions, follow his track record. I've made a ton of money on recommendations he has made!!

  • Why Stratasys' Valuation Bubble Will Pop In 2014 [View article]
    Taobabe,

Look at the 200 day moving average and the 14 day RSI of 30, both are getting fairly close. If SSYS gets to those points take the gift in front of you. I bought today at $112.50 and will add more if it gets down around $102.00

  • Here's Why 3D Systems Will Not Fail [View article]
For those who have read my comments in the past I will give you another replay... Stock has dropped appx. 20-25% from its high 14 day RSI is at about 30. You know what I did today, bought some DDD and SSYS. If DDD gets down to $64.00 I will be buying more. When the RSI gets back up to 70 you know I will sell. Look at the chart the past 12 months and you can see the opportunities on breaks like we are currently having. No rocket science!!

  • IBM Buyout Unlikely; 3D Systems Still A Good Investment But At What Price? [View article]
A good article, in particular about current valuations of DDD and SSYS. I have been long both stocks for some time and enjoyed a very nice run up. I am also long ONVO and VJET. I am bullish the 3D industry, however those who have read my comments in the past know I follow the 14 day RSI and use it as a key trading tool. The past three days I have taken profits in both DDD & SSYS. With DDD 14 day RSI over 80 it just was to high, after a 12-17% pullback I will start reloading long again. Just to note I have purchased some $65.00 and $70.00 put options on DDD to me it looks like the shorts may have been blowing out on heavey buying volume and the IBM rumor.

  • Selling These Stocks Is Business, Not Personal [View article]
Those of you that have read my comments in the past know that I use the 14 RSI as a primary tool. When DDD was at $49.00 to $51.00 I was a seller RSI above 70. Now with the RSI at about 30 -again at a support level at $41.00 I would disagree and be a buyer here and not a seller. Time will tell!! Today I am long again with DDD so I am biased.

  • Amazon (AMZN) launches a dedicated portion of its website to 3-D printers in a move that could help the burgeoning technology (DDD, SSYS, XONE) hit the mainstream. The company lists 3-D printers and accessories from major brands in the section. [View news story]
Will, I've been watching PRLB since it went public. It has been a great performer as well. Thanks for mentioning it.

I think the point to remember here is that Everything that moves 3d printing to the consumer use in good for 3d stocks. I don't own AMZN so I don't care about it. More important for me Is DDD SSYS and EXONE

  • 3D Systems (DDD) and Stratasys (SSYS) both catch downgrades from William Bair in a note titled "Waiting for Expectations to Align With Reality." Neither firm, says Bair, appears well-positioned to be the leader of a "3rd industrial revolution ... many investors are buying shares of these two companies, at least in part, for the wrong reasons." Both are off 1.5-2% in the premarket. [View news story]
I do not like the the technical trade of DDD that took place on 5-14-13 the 14 day RSI hit my high point and I lightened up on my long position.
