Excellent article by Prieur du Plessis. The graphs are presented in vivid colors. The writings are brief with no need for explanations. I was impressed by the authors best works.
What's in Store for the Dow this September? [View article]
Investors may become very wealthy if they have purchased a large stake with Countrywide stock. Investors will be lucky if Warren Buffett purchases Countrywide stock. This is mathematical FACT. This may be a better topic for the author.
Stay Calm and Rational During This Selloff [View article]
The best advice that I can give is to sell off all your stocks if you have not. Once the market comes back, is your chance to get back in to the marke and get back what you may have lost.

All is good if the market does not CRASH! If the market gets worse and if we bail out before, then what do we buy when it goes back up with light $PEED?
Is This the Beginning of the End for the Market? [View article]
John, I think you are right to say "You've provided no cogent thinking process on this subject." It is absurd that the author believes in what they wrote? Does the writer think that we as investors are not aware of what is at stake. "Your money!" I suggest to sell all you can before the big one hits harder. I am selling everything this Monday. I can always get back in to the game when the smoke clears. I think it is better to pull out now than placing stop orders due to a CRASH! Stop orders will not protect you if a crash is to occur due to the speed of the stocks being sold at a faster rate. All of the European firms have pulled out with other Nations. Peter, I also do not understand the difference between the two sets of figures. I think Hickey and Walters should have used better judgment when they wrote this article. I respect your analysis. Leo Surprenant
More Volatility Likely Following Last Week's Selloff [View article]
Hickey and Waters writes, "While there are no conclusions to be made to the upside or the downside, the absolute percentage changes in the right columns below highlight that we are in store for more volatility." After analyzing this sentence, I have come to the conclusion that Hickey and Walters wrote this article that present no unique or creditable findings. I do feel that the general discussion of fear will have a bad affect on the S&P 500. Leo Surprenant
