  • Digging Into BlackBerry's Cash: Things Are Not As Well As They Seem [View article]
mark, it is not too late, BUT it is 10x harder now and will take more resources to do so. The management losing trust, its worse then losing cash.

  • Heins' Mobile End Computing Vision Comes To An End; So Must He [View article]
Not only customers on enterprise level will reconsider their adoption of BES, but also, even QWERTY fanboys will think twice before going with mobile device from dying company. Last “black Friday” is really beginning of the end, the chances are minuscule for surviving, sorry $BBRY. Simply it will be very hard to get back the trust that general public and investors had before last Friday disaster.
    PS. Any rumors from DoD?

  • I Am Joining The Bears In The BlackBerry Bush [View article]
I am a novice to the stock market; as a matter of fact BBRY is my first stock I am “playing” around. Yes, you heard me right, playing. I have had no intend to be a long runner on BBRY from the get go, my entry point was 3500 shares at around $12 this year, just selling on peaks and buying on deeps I made my way to 5000 shares. I was looking forward to Q1 2014 ER and as many longs, kept a bottle of champagne in a fridge, well, shorts kept it cold as well, I presume. slcUTAH is right, saying about small time buyers, I am one of them and was hoping to get a nice profit from flipping shares. I follow this discussion from the day one of my new endeavor and always had a balanced approach to making decisions, but made several common mistakes, “fell in love with the stock” and ”become greedy”. Well, last Friday things went wrong for bulls, for me as well, GOOD LESSON TAKEN!!! I personally lost all my profit and a few bucks of initial entry money. Very good! I have learned my lesson, I got valuable experience! Now, I want to say thank you to all contributors on both sides, BULLS and BEARS for making balanced approach to discussion about stock business, especially bears, for their cold minded opinions. Mr. Blair, George K., Systembolaget, Mr.Knowitall, Marcap, Piston, Infinity, LYogi, logicalman, and many others, thank you. Too bad I didn’t listen even more. I know that investors with long haul positions do not like short traders, but we all here to make money, so let it be. Here is how I see the near future of this stock (BBRY). It is going a little down next week, as short traders will try to make stock to fall to $8-9, shorts have big power and momentum at this time and they would not lose this opportunity. Next week TSX is closed on Monday and NASDAQ closed on Thursday, so the stock will be progressing in red zone, until shorts decided to cover their positions and buy shares back, so second following week we going to see some rebound in the stock price to around $12-13. I will buy stock back at near bottom and trade it once or two, just to recoup some loss, after that I am closing my positions and will be at the side until I see dramatic changes in the management and marketing.
@Sytem, I agree with you about Heins, NOW EVEN MORE.

I can see this stock at $10 south next week, shorts will press it down, and I hope to recoup a partial loss on the bouncing, while shorts sellers will close some positions. I would not make a long term commitment, at least for now. I think, there is another tech giant from Europe, you can bet on, it has a few catalysts in near future. Thank you, Mr.Blair for sharing your knowledge with coomunity.
