  • OncoSec Medical Has A Promising Technology [View article]
respect your thoughts Pat. I am gonna start layering in buys here. I had ADXS when it had a 70 million dollar market cap not too long ago, and the shareholders were slitting their wrists. I sold, and then it went down another 45 million in value. Look at it now. ONCS has much more effective technology, imho. There are many astute owners of oncs, with furbush at the forefront, but right now they are all fit to be tied, and I cannot blame them. Still, I have seen this scenario before. I bought a short while ago, and dumped it all, like a chicken, with a small loss, but man at 32 cents it is mouthwatering, so I am coming back in.

Thanks Jason for using the metrics you do to get to the current estimated "fair" price of 6 bucks. Can we both agree that using these sorts of historical reference points, i.e. 25% chance based on other products/drugs which have gone through the IDA and PMA approval processes over the years, is pretty random. I know you are trying to use at least some reference point, and yours is as good as any. Still, it is not like this TYPE of Product has ever gone through any ida/pma reference point, since the scaffold has never existed before. It is sort of like when bookmakers say that when the NY Giants play the Philadelphia Eagles, at home in November, the Giants beat the Eagles 6 out of 10 times, based on a sample of all such games which they have played against each other in past Novembers, over the past 3 decades. The stats may prove such a thing, but the teams over the past 30 years are not the same players, coaches, etc., so much so that stated win percentage of 60% is not particularly useful in predicting a current outcome. The preclinical data with primates and the scaffold was far higher than 25%; it was 100%, was it not? (I realize you are aware of this data but cannot regurgitate every single observation.) And now we are 2 for 2, it would appear, with human patients. Anyway, terrific article from you, as per usual.

Jason Napodano is outstanding. He won't be around much longer, I think. Some Big Money or Big hedge fund advisory think tank will gobble him up and use him for their private clients only. All his stuff is top tier. gotta try and submit an article myself, one of these days......

  • Valuation Case For Oncosec's Immunopulse [View instapost]
Sometimes you have valuations in a stock which make no sense but the price sits there for a long stretch, and so the value assigned "looks" accurate. Even owners forget what they own. If ONCS in any way approaches its comparator, we will see a very dramatic reassessment of the share price. Accumulate.

  • Cloud Computing Wars 2015 - Google, Microsoft, Docker, Sphere 3D And VMware [View article]
Keubiko, at least you and I share something: both of us cannot wait until ANY gets to 20. For both of us it would be a dream, but I think your dream is a little perverse. Twisted sister logic. Each day ANY ascends you must enjoy some Masochistic delight. So you and I will both be gleeful at 20 bucks a share, so get ready and buy some balloons and pompoms when you shop at the Dollar Store, as 20 s/p will be here sooner than you think. Note to myself: there are a lot of perverse minds on message boards. sad really.

keubiko, I applaud you in your ability to manufacture goofy short trades and then promote them on a message board like this. POST the stuff before hand buddy. In truth, I happen to be long ANY. FWIW, the first stock I ever bought was Apple, 1987 to be exact, 3 business days before black monday, oct 19th to be more precise, and I have held it ever since and added on downturns. I even held it and tripled my bet during the late nineties tech craze and was dying before MSFT lent them a lifeline for a big chunk of the company. I think I have another one here with Sphere. Cloud computing is going to explode over the balance of this decade.

  • Cellceutix Overvalued By 90-99% [View article]
This is such a primitive article. The author is a typical seeking alpha short and using this short blog to talk down a stock, which has doubled in the past year, and tripled the two years before that. So he is mad. His reasoning is to compare ctix to a dozen failing companies with failing or bleak futures, but which have more book value than ctix and then conclude that ctix is therefore overvalued. Ben, please. A chair has 4 legs. A horse has 4 legs. A chair is not therefore a horse. I think you should stick to bonds and even gold and you will not be losing so much money because investing in small emerging companies requires an ability to assess the business prospects of the company, the industry, the technology, etc...

  • Cellceutix up on report of positive results in clinical trial [View news story]
excellent post. Many good points you observe. I am particularly persuaded by the concept of a moat to protect the scientific pathway CTIX has developed *or is developing, with kevetrin. The patent for Dr. Menon's achievement is massive, and I believe was authored by one of the top attorneys in all of Pharma, with several of the biggest drugs ever to his credit. It has over 50,000 protective permutations. BP has raced to develop over a dozen checkpoint inhibitors, at least a half dozen more and CART technologies, and there are many good dendritic cell approaches, but this P53 technology is the only game in town. Dr. Menon already has two multi billion dollar cancer drugs to his credit as well. Somebody will swoop in to make a play for this technology. Kevetrin may be huge as a companion therapy for ALL Cancers, as it repairs the guardian angel gene, p53. I project it will slingshot effectiveness in dozens of cancers, and may work as a stand alone as well. It is the only drug Pfizer has ever tested which has shown effectiveness with their blockbuster, which they have attempted to do with dozens of {otherwise ineffective} companion candidates.

  • GDXJ Re-Balancing Pummels These 5 Gold Developers [View article]
I do not fully understand this, but the author says that the stocks he points out have been sold according to recent filings. Per van eck, and 1/9/15, here are the companies that are owned by the etf. Torex, for instance, per this fact sheet, is the fourth largest holding, but the author says it has been sold. When were the filings filed?

Hi Shallum, i like your articles of course. One really big thought: It never ceases to amaze me how experts are like weatherman, and to be a weatherman is surely one of the world's great jobs. I see there is a guy who posts on google, and he is very smart, knowledgeable, and knows more than anybody, even you, about small cancer stocks. So..........this guy posts very erudite posts, showing how smart he is, and also, that ONCS is the most undervalued stock in the entire universe of 90587 stocks in the world. He compares every one of them on the oncs board. He is, to my mind, a genius, and he is hog wild over oncs, dozens upon dozens of posts, laying out the entire cancer universe, like he is isaac newton. He says oncs is by far a monster stock in the making, with co-therapy results of at least 79.038546 percent. (not his phone number)....so he says buy buy......and then this nitwit says in a recent post. "btw, i have been doing so more thinking, and I think there are many problems with the technology, and getting the device in people's bodies, and getting the new device approved, so you know what, I like adxs better due to ease of use. and o, btw, you should always diversify. remember, never put a lot in any one investment." what a j erk oooooooooofff. This guy has obviously moved most or al of his port to another stock....so when you follow these anon people, remember, never trust anybody. these little gossip chat rooms are where spiders can hang out, ready to take your money. I do not think you are like this, but, you never know. NO accountability. No nothing. like a weatherman.

  • Is Northwest Biotherapeutics A Bargain? Yes! [View article]
nice article ryan: my sense is the discount is because of the costs to commercialize dcvax L from the current perspective, which is considerable although the company, as you note, seems to have no trouble raising funds. Still, how much are we talking about? There is the usual uncertainty in approvals, especially in europe, but once again, things look encouraging. Also, the time when all this will materialize, but again, things are encouraging given it is cancer, but it is frustrating to see a couple these other candidates, fly up the radar screen with FDA stamps of approvals for accelerated this and that. It is just maddening. Also, the sector moves fast, and their are other immunotherapy designs that are moving quickly ahead with Pharma money. I notice you did not address the solid tumor study? Is this due to the competition or the early nature of their PH1 study, or just not the topic of the article?
