Time to Discard Price/Book Ratio When Evaluating the I-Banks

I find it hard to believe that someone would think p/e's for brokerage stocks, or any industry for that matter, would be a better measure than asset value. Unfortunately there is NO reliable measure for brokerage firm stocks. Right now they ball look like hedge funds.
