  • Rising Ad Blocker Use Poses Risk to Web Content/Ad Stocks [View article]
Advertising must be psychologically acceptable to the user. Maximizing profits at the consumer's psychological expense is unethical and eventually uncompetitive.

  • Is Rupert Murdoch Overpaying For Dow Jones? [View article]
Well, now that Murdoch has purchased the Dow Jones, it's time to disregard any objective credibility the Wall Street Journal may have had in the past. Anything he touches he intentionally dirties to further his own business interests. But that's fine. Other news sites could pop up and time that don't play that tune...

  • Dow Jones/News Corp. Merger Unlikely to Succeed [View article]
My observation is how one may extend a conclusion from this. Rupert Murdoch and News Corp have a very bad name. Their money is dirty.

Too much money is "dirty." Money is nothing but power backed by the US legal system. Big US money is evil and dirty. It empowers those lacking of merit. It empowers evil, such as Rupert Murdoch. All these evil influences make for a horrible system dominated by these evil influences.

So as long as the US Dollar is recognized, evil people like Rupert Murdoch make US business dirty. It doesn't matter where you get your money from. If you have money, it strongly originated from doing something the evil capital influences benefited from.

US business is as dirty as it is because of the nature of the heirs of the US Dollar.

  • The Bancrofts Soften On Selling Dow Jones: Journalistic Integrity Claims Are A Red Herring [View article]
Well sure. I said last night that big media news is synonymous with lies. People don't turn on the news to be lied to. What's the other half of the story? Who are these wackjobs they interview? If I heard endless news about a stripper who lied about Duke lacrosse players in a case that was ultimately dropped, what wasn't I hearing?

The Internet gives a chance at reputable reporting. Big media is just too slimy to recover. The reputations are lost. News over the Internet without reputed, established ties to propaganda is the only thing that has a chance to be worth hearing for those educated enough to know the fallacies of logic, like the author of this article.

  • Murdoch's 'Editorial Suicide' Bodes Poorly For Dow Jones Merger  [View article]
I'll never forget OJ Simpson getting a load of money and that smear campaign Murdoch orchestrated to make a scape goat out of somebody other than him for enriching a murderer.

  • Dow Jones Q1 2007 Earnings Call Transcript [View article]
The Dow Jones Exchange got more money from ads online. That means they probably help to make it easy for collusion to make stock prices appear higher for certain corporations.

It just makes me visualize the financial system of America as just a bunch of corporations giving each other money, or suing and taking money away from each other.

I saw some media reps sitting on the board of directors, there.

Wait a minute. Are these stock exchanges just places where you could just sell your own stocks if you wanted to, but you could sell your stock anywhere if you pleased? Like, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, couldn't high numbers allow for possible collusion with the government? Is there a financial benefit to a particular stock exchange having visibly appealing numbers? Could I just sit here and make up my own computerized stock exchange if I wanted? Then I'd be competitive with Nasdaq? Like an open source stock exchange or something? If the stock exchanges are corporations, and they manage the appeal of other corporations, then isn't there pretty good room for friends to be doing favors for friends?

  • Dow Jones Posts Earnings Beat, WSJ Ad Revenue Down [View article]
Ads in print newspaper are dying quick. Cell phone usage for the Internet is up, and those are good conversions. Plus, online media is more profitable than newspapers because of the low costs of doing businesses. Retail stores are the equivalent of newspaper print, and they're being squeezed to death by online stores where people buy things and get them over Fed Ex. I got my dining room table on clearance for $300 from JC Penny.com and built it myself, and it looks like it could cost $600. Same with newspapers. Yesterday I pulled up the classified section of a super-conservative register called "The Orange County Register" and looked at the classifieds. On the same page where I found just a few entries for lots of land, there was this huge section called "adult." The first listing was a female named "Nikki" who would get lucky with a guy. There were exotic massage ads galore, at like $50 an hour, or $10 off an hour. Those listings just filled the lower half of the page, and there were less real estate ads than adult ads. Go to Craigs List and you see adult ads for free. Newspapers are having trouble turning a profit for the same reason retail stores are dying. My projection is that online ads will be improved upon, then more or less perfected, then they'll become a commodity, then new forms of online monetization will appear, because too much attention is being given to the advertisement industry. I'm considering new forms of monetization of attractions online, because overcoming media monopoly censorship of press to promote business endeavors of friends is being quickly exploited for everybody otherwise outside of the Newscorp monopoly. In short, I'm looking for ways to overcome the government's oppression of its citizens, because offering a service that effectively solves the problems the government creates for its people is the best way to make the US Dollar.
