  • The Real Crisis: Collapsing Capital Accumulation Process [View article]
R- I suspect the supply-siders, not only Republicans, that Obama has brought on board have told him our only manufacturing base left is WEAPONS, the "Long War on Terrorism" I was shocked Obama's speech supported what should have been a police action all along. I live in San Diego, I know the apartment complex where these kids left their door open, allowing other tenants to watch them play aircraft simulation games. No furniture, backpacks on the floor with fast-food trash piles in the corner. It's a low income rental neighborhood, nobody cared. They weren't planning 911 between calls to Afganistan or Pakistan! They were rogue Jihadists using our system.
The troops coming home will need jobs. These realities go against his ethics, but I fear he is now compromised.

HERE'S AN EXCELLENT POINT!> <And, if defense-related expenditures are removed from the national budgets of the developing economies, real GDP growth rates are less than zero, with few exceptions. >

Why aren't more authors talking about this? In the recent GDP reports, 60% of exports was DEFENSE! (read: OFFENSE!) The US is the largest weapons manufacturer/seller in the world, take this out, GDP was negative for MANY quarters.
Obama said the withdrawl of Iraq troops would pay for domestic stimulus'. A LIE! Just like the 7,000 troop increase he spoke of becoming a 30,000 troop ESCALATION.
And no outrage YET in this country?

  • Time To Abandon Stocks? [View article]
Bear markets end w/ HIGH interest rates, Egg?, or should I say Eggonface? quite the opposite. Look at the 10-yr, our own Treasury is buying our own paper to keep it from rising to 4%+, each time it gets to 3.93%, watch the $TNX, it's already broken out of the down-channel. Stagflation is what we'll have, I'm not buying any deflation scenario.
