    great info. I wonder if the i-banks, advised by Paulson are borrowing all these billions and trading/propping the market, how else do you explain the premarket cash futures being up almost every day for 2-3 weeks, including they 10-min reversal after the job number was announced last week? Less M&A, so the majority of their profits are on trading, now they have an open checkbook? Not hard to beat a 2.5% return, and today the Fed said it's 2.1% on the next auction.

    The author mentions "forward p/e" in the first line, then "current & trailing", then "FORWARD" is assumed to be current on the charts? TERRIBLE writing, becoming more common on this site. Are you assuming Wall St. estimates of earnings growth (other than financials) going forward? No way. That puts the FORWARD p/e well over 20, maybe as high as 25 on the S&P.
