  • BlackBerry Defeated  [View article]
I still think if they made the Priv dual boot or any new devices, they would sell better.

  • BlackBerry launches product line pairing BES12 with Good Technology offerings  [View news story]
BES just keeps on trucking! Those that think Good was great well now it for sure is making BES12 both leader and niche. Recurring revenue seems to be going according to plan, bye bye bears, hello new excuses.

  • Yes, QNX Might Become A Big Revenue Stream For BlackBerry In The Future  [View article]

Exactly. KIA's argument is based on the premise that echo systems will dictate car purchases, where BlackBerry is selling the unification of common tasks facing Engineers building the next great vehicle. They offer the Microsoft Office type suite in the form of an integration API that that is already integrated with hardware reducing cost and delivery time to market.

Being cross platform makes them 100% Compatible, everyone is welcome. Linux is a macro Kernel versus micro and that means QNX is definitely a more stable and less power hungry option.

  • Why BlackBerry Is Such An Awesome Stock  [View article]

BlackBerry 10 is the newest OS with many features the other monolithic iOS and Droid don't do. That new Apple feature to hold a an image, link etc has been out for 3 years or more and Patented by BlackBerry . Apple secretly bought in the patent. Lots of features from BlackBerry 10 are copied, just sheep don't know it because Apple is in their face 24/7 spending billions to keep it that way.

  • BlackBerry Is A Better Stock Than Apple For 2016  [View article]

I wonder how many Samsung and Iphones would sell if they didn't spend billions in advertising and relied on word of mouth.

  • Apple: Why This Isn't 'Peak iPhone'  [View article]

And brags about them with leaks and such the rest of the year, BB put out the first Android so no more BB10 features to bring to iOS that they copy. Although I love the forced touch that they bought off BBRY last spring secretly. BB has been doing that for 3 years or more now and is one of the many efficiency the BB10 platform has with piles of patents to back it up. Too bad people get duped into buying sub par products with meh technology because of the massive marking that Apple does. Just takes time for people to wake up or Apple to actually give me something that excites me or makes my life better, something they haven't done for a while now riding on the laurels of 2011. Shame, I loved them so much for over a decade and hated BB. Maybe I just like being at the beginning of the trends and not follow them i.e. not a sheep.

This ain't hate, BBRY was hate, this is disdain. I hate Apple and Google for not letting me share with other devices I own. I like choice and Apple is all in or get out. They erased my music in 2007 to 2010 if I bought it somewhere else and I thought I was losing my mind. Turns out they were doing it deliberately, well until they were sued and lost.

Welcome to what Wall Street did to BBRY while piling up on AAPL. I drew the comparison a couple of years ago. Didn't realize then how sticky and unfair those contracts with Carriers were at the time. Now they are over and we would assume with the investigations into anti complete nature of those contracts and the fact that the carriers couldn't keep up to those crazy quota's.

iPhone is a fad, like the BB, Like the Moto Razr etc. With 50% revenue coming from this I can't see AAPL growing much more at this time. Next flavour tba unless they make it less of a toy and more efficient to get stuff done.

This is nothing buddy, they are just getting warmed up with AAPL.

    @the kush,

When the BlackBerry Created the modern day smart phone it was technology that drove sales and patents the stop the copy cats. Then technology again made a leap with Steve Jobs bringing us the first media super phone and entertainment with great user experiences. Thank you for that design innovation for the 12 years of hassle free setup and ease of use. I left the product 3 years ago because of the technology, stickiness like not being able to use anything but Apple and finding better solutions for my daily life.

Others will too as this old OS gets bogged down and that lost creativity starts to appear in the general public. If a restaurant make great food and you keep coming back for more when don't make the food as well eventually people stop going because there are better options.

These guys rely on the iphone for half there revenue. Imagine your portfolio with one stock representing your holdings. You also have to remember that their deal with the devil playing on the greed of the telcos, giving ridiculous quotas with serious penalties that are now being investigated as breaking competition laws are expired.

  • BlackBerry: A Few Considerations  [View article]

So we all agree 60 million or so. They may not be connected. So if this was smart phones and thinking refresh sales to existing customers like Apple touts then why with Car 2.0 selling currently with Ford ousting MSFT for car 2.0. Etc. Which by the way was a steal from a competitor, would it be implausible that we have 60 million more lined for upgrades?
