    @kurt,

    Agree, they did that to appease the Indian and Arab governments a few years back. If Chen cracks China with an MDM and BlackBerry 10 licensing it would definitely help the Revenue curve out and up.

    If all non Google Services Apps run on BlackBerry 10 and this is what the Chinese market is accustom to then I think Eco argument would be nill. Security, BlackBerry 10 is closed and BES servers run in China by Chinese Corps and Gov might see this as acceptable. Reliance on Android etc would be reduced, they would physically control servers and data and with BlackBerry 10 closed and a Canadian not American company might help both sides in approving of a licensing agreement.

    Truth and possibility are always between the extreme views and this one might find a sweet spot yet.

    @Denis,

    On the virtual and passport you swipe up the correct words and or it functions like word by underlining incorrectly spelt words. Touch the word and suggestions pop up. Been there since BB 10.0.

    @Bob,

    Actually Apple is currently being investigated for the contracts that Julie alluded too. They are hurting consumer choice and cost by an increase in 30% cost to consumer. There are also unfair trade practices in that investigation that lend credence to Julie's view and that was and still is my view. Those contracts expired this year so maybe that's why ATT etc. are coming around.

    @U...115,

    If they don't taste it how will they ever know they like it? We need carrier support back and some marketing.

    @KIA,

    Yes, that's the one that won over Ford from MSFT, also Mazaratti etc. I think this will grow. When you can create a type of high level language so to speak and all the integration testing has already been done you save $$$ and Time and BB is gonna get a slice of that.

    @KIA,

    You got that right but navigating special interests and double speak is confusing i.e. Buy buy buy so we can dump dump dump or sell sell sell so we can cover :(

    @John,

    Wall Street is in bed with AAPL Good Mobile etc., they want BB to shut that down because it actually is a threat, just one keyboard hit and what will AAPL do? While it's open there is always the potential for that home run and we know that home runs in mobile are super profitiable and hold you well for years like Apple with just tweaks and no real new innovation.

    That's why John.

    @D,

    Burned on AXP got out with a hair cut but could have been scalped, the stock was good to me then Costco contract doesn't get renewed. Slightly underwater with BB in at 951 and 981 so fingers crossed. Didn't go LuLu. the rest for this year are Coke, HD, AXP (out with a loss, trim to haircut), MSFT (in out, now even and holding with slight red going green but not as green as others :( and last but not least Ford at 15.30.

    That's all I can afford unless I reduce BBRY or BB.TO.

    Personally I am not excited about earnings, wish I had stuck to my guns at not buying unless 9.51 but sucked myself in at 9.81 (grrr, still learning)

    So I am barely at 1% so far on the year :( if I just had Coke and HD I'd be much happier and not having to listen to Bob.

    Cheers and happy trading!

    @SN/D/KIA,

    Why close the position? If it is a bad ER and the stock price is to go down after the ER like Bob predicts why now?
