  • BlackBerry's Weaker Security For The Priv Could Impact Enterprise And Government Adoption [View article]
Well said the Priv is a toy, I love the screen and keyboard but android is very in your face and not very efficient. My kids love the phone, why? Snap chat and other moats of apps.

BlackBerry 10 still rules business and has had "3D Tap" o whatever Apple is calling holding down and getting a menu. Can't do the Priv as a Daily driver, I just don't get as much done. OMG the screen!

  • Is BlackBerry's Priv Similar To Apple's 1997-2007 Comeback? [View article]
I guess buying into the eco system is buying into the consumer market but without Marketing does anyone even know they are there? The phone at the back not even powered up with demo running? That part of the game is lacking. Bought the Priv for the girl friend and she loves it and so do the kids surprisingly but who is going to the back of the store and will see the stunning screen of this beast?

  • BlackBerry Priv Is Off To An Encouraging Start [View article]
I ordered one for the girlfriend and it's stunning the kids love it because it has full access to Google Play Services and a memorizing screen. The Passport is crisp and clear but the Privs screen is very memorizing vs extremely clear, it has a wow factor.

  • U.K. pre-orders begin for BlackBerry's Priv Android phone; specs confirmed [View news story]

Ah the memories, thanks for sharing. If the past is the indicator the phone will be marketed and priced poorly which in turn leads to lack of visibility which means poor sales.

But, there is always the chance to win the lottery if you have a ticket and the Priv is a ticket. I Personally am not jumping on the phone but might get one for my girl friend and see how efficient they made Android and how the hub works etc, calendar and if it could work for work.

I want a Passport with New high end specs, that I would by day one.

  • BlackBerry: Where Is The Bottom? [View article]
They need a hit and time is running out on how many shots they get. Can they stay alive while IoT begins? Why no dual boot Priv?

    Long by a nose.

  • Chen: BlackBerry stepping up efforts to monetize patents [View news story]
Without time my negotiating position is eroded but I have choices. Having an active patent patrol in place and identifying infringements has shown some gold but how to extract it, partnership type agreement or another typo type action.

Interesting times and the call will be equally interesting.

  • Significant Upside Potential With Blackberry Patent Licensing [View article]

The mentality of being hardware focused made them not appreciate the value of their patents. When jC was at Sybase he bought a patent license for 200k expecting to pay 2-3 mil. Ignorance or lack of appreciation for those assets is what jC and this article are addressing.

  • BlackBerry: Avoid The Treadmill [View article]

I live and work in Toronto Financial district and I see a lot of BlackBerry 10 devices, I also see there are 5 more other guys phones per and worse as it leaves towards the burbs. I know those who own them love them those that don't like them find them hard to understand except the messaging.

I invest in BlackBerry because I love it's products like BES and BlackBerry 10 and their future vision for IoT. I am Canadian and a lot of jobs have been lost in my back yard so this portion of my portfolio is for supporting a phone and Company I love and that has added so much to our community. Is that okay for you? I just became under water in BlackBerry and I am still up 9% on the year.

Fifty Shades of grey was written on a Bold, Drake wrote his first hit with a BlackBerry and many other artists and author's. Biggest is best only in Texas ;).

Ps my son had his Q10 plugged into a monitor using a bluetooth mouse and keyboard, a mini computer. No story here just a fact.

Then they upgrade to the leap if they are price sensitive and love the OS, the others will love the slider.

  • BlackBerry +5.4%; Cisco deal inked, software grows rapidly, services slump [View news story]

Interesting as you touted Cisco with great patents and now this deal. Perhaps BlackBerry IoT is a lot farther along then you've said. Instead of eating. BlackBerry lunch they are going out together to feed on the others.
