Wow, did you know that Amazons core business is selling things. That's what it does best. In all your wisdom you want them to stop innovating and selling everything under the sun. Wow, you really are smart.

This stock is a winner. Ullman is doing a great job. I am a former financial advisor. I will continue to add to my position on any downturns. Today looks to be a good bet to add additional shares.

The strength of Amazon is in the number of customers it has, an uncanny ability to control the market place and pricing. You cannot dismiss Amazon, it has now exceeded every retailer that it goes head to head with. Its operational focus is unparalleled. In what it does, it has no competitors.
Not in brick and mortar, and not online. You are looking at a virtual monopoly. Whether that is good or not, it matters not to me as an investor. My only goal is to make money and amazon has done that for me, however I am not a fool, any stock can have a precipitous decline with out warning. Use a stop loss.

  • Zynga's (ZNGA -15.3%) decision not to pursue real-money gambling in the U.S. probably has more to do with a fear of rubbing shoulders with heavyweights such as Wynn Resorts (WYNN -0.4%) and MGM Resorts (MGM +0.2%) with their deep pockets than concerns a major market doesn't exist for online gambling, according to early analysis. The other interesting angle is Zynga could be positioning itself for a strategic partnership with a company that already has the requisite gaming licenses. [View news story]
The only thing that could have saved this company would be online gambling and learn to compete fiercely. There may be a future for this company, but as to adding this to your portfolio, absolutely not. Check out the 5,000 securities, there must be other possible buys.
