  • REITs: Paving the 2011 High-Income Highway [View article]
David has done a great job in telling about how REITs work. I have owned NLY and AGNC for quite some time, and the dividends are indeed high. You can also count on the money to be paid in the month after the quarter ends. I highly recommend these stocks along with David.

  • Inovio CEO Interview: PD1/PDL1 Inhibitors, Immunotherapy And Why Investors Should Be Excited About 2014 [View article]
Thanks to Mr. Mero and Dr. Kim for an outstanding article on Inovio (INO). I own the stock, and I plan to buy more after reading this article. As it has been mentioned, Dr. Kim's enthusiasm and expertise along with the Roche partnership should lead to a great 2014 for the stock. This is one of the few biotech stocks that I own, and I believe it can be a multi-bagger stock in the coming years.

  • End of the Secular Commodities Bull Market? [View article]
I agree with everyone that Steven has written a great article. An old saying is that when interest is low, stocks will grow. When interest is high, stocks will die. I think we are creeping toward a market peak that is not sustainable especially when a lot of gold and silver companies increase production, and supply exceeds demand. Then, when interest rates eventually rise, the stock market will fall over a cliff again.

  • Sirius Expectations from Auto Sales Data [View article]
Thanks to Brandon and everybody else commenting on Sirius. I recently bought shares of SIRI again, and I will probably buy more shares at least in the near term. I think the positive aspects outweigh the negatives right now.

  • Expecting Continued Precious Metal Strength Through Early June [View article]
I agree with Jeb that $1600 is a good temporary selling target for gold. I am long in the short-term in Proshares Ultra Silver (AGQ) and SPDR Gold Shares (GLD). I will be looking at the 20 day moving averages as Jeb said, though, because we will definitely have a pullback at some point in time, and it will probably be in the summer. The hard part may be knowing when to buy silver and gold again after they have a correction. I believe the long-term uptrend is true, but pullbacks can be severe.

  • Uranium Mines in Wyoming Coming Closer to Production in 2011 [View article]
Jeb has done a great job in telling about the history of Uranium One as well as naming the three prominent near producers in Wyoming. I have owned URG and URZ for quite some time, and I have gained more than 100% on both of them. I highly recommend these two stocks, and I may also buy Uranium One.

  • Louis James on 'Best of the Best' Metal Miners [View article]
Louis James has done a great job in pointing out several good mining companies. He eloquently explains why these picks are worthwhile. I currently own SVM, and I will probably be buying some of the other stocks mentioned in this article.

  • Mason Graphite: Graphene Revolution, Lithium-Ion Battery Growth, And China Supply Woes Offer A Compelling Opportunity [View article]
Thanks for a great article on Mason Graphite (OTCQX:MGPHF). I think you are right that this is a multi-bagger stock although it may take a while to develop. I have worked in the electronics field all of my life, and I think graphene and graphite will be used extensively in future products as well as current ones like lithium-ion batteries.

  • Weighing the Week Ahead: Have We Reached an Economic Tipping Point? [View article]
Thanks Jeff for a good article. I think a lot of stocks will be heading down this summer because of the bad news. A couple stocks that might be worthwhile for holding are SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) and American Capital Agency (AGNC). I think gold will continue its gradual rise, and AGNC pays a consistent dividend of around 19%.

  • Why I Am Still Long China North East Petroleum [View article]
Nawar has done a great job in reporting the news about China North East Petroleum. I own NEP, and I recommend it at I have owned the stock off and on for years. Nawar is probably right in buying and holding NEP because it may be one of the biggest gainers of 2010 versus small gains in the general market after last year's rally off the bottom.

  • A Conversation With Cushing's Dan Spears On U.S. Oil And Gas MLPs [View article]
I don't know much about Enerplus (ERF), but the natural gas build-out for the trucking industry will be a slow process. I own Westport (WPRT) and Clean Energy (CLNE) for the expectation that trucks and cars will switch to natural gas in the future. However, the upfront cost of switching and the lack of natural gas stations will hinder a quick increase in natural gas prices. Therefore, companies that depend on natural gas for most of their income will probably be depressed in price for the near future at least.

  • Equity And Credit Markets Telling Two Different Stories [View article]
Thank you Financial Sense for these outstanding charts on the ECRI WLI and the overnight lending rates. I agree that the stock market rally will probably be short-lived. Even if the European crisis is resolved in the near term, we will still have problems here in the U.S. with high unemployment and a divided Congress.

If the double volatility index ETF (TVIX) calms down to around $30 per share, it may be a good time to buy it before it makes another run toward $100 whenever bad news gets the upper hand. You could make more than three times your money in this case. Just be sure you buy TVIX only when it is low.
