Allocating some small amount of your total bankroll to a portfolio for testing of a thesis or strategy however is, contrary to your depictions, quite prudent. I believe that is exactly what the author intends. Testing of thesis and strategy is the only way to learn and eventually become more successful as an investor.

Also, iTV is not even in the same ballpark with respect to hardware capabilities of Sony, or MS gaming consoles for comparisons to be made.
