If you're going to make the accusations you did about GEO and Roddy Boyd, you better include some proof..just because you believe something to be true, doesn't make it fact.

  • Clouds Lift For Canadian Solar, Suntech [View article]
I think the reason people are frustrated is because you have an insolvent company trading with a $271 million market cap. The bonds keep hitting all time lows, yet the stock increases 20% on bearish news. This article makes it sound like the equity has some value and maybe undervalued. When in fact, the company is very close to bankruptcy and trying everything they can to keep every penny in China.

  • Suntech Finds Friend In Wuxi, Foe In New York [View article]
    Doug,

Why do you believe it will take another 7 or 8 months for Suntech to emerge from bankruptcy? Do you have factual basis for this estimate or is this an arbitrary guess?

"I do think China-based groups will ultimately win the battle for control of the company, but it could be another 7 or 8 months now before Suntech can finally complete its reorganization and emerge from bankruptcy."

"Have they ever written on LLEN in the past in a similar manner , and if so was anything discovered."

Really CBOE Traders?! How can you write multiple articles recommending LLEN and not know about Geoinvesting's past work on the company? This is really basic due diligence. And you expect readers to believe you know whats going on in China with this company?

  • Sources Suggest Suntech Power's Convertible Bondholders Won't Get Any Money From The Restructuring [View article]
Nice article Adam. Did any of the bondholders that you talk to say why they dont force Suntech into bankruptcy?

  • Bankrupt Suntech (STP +16.1%) soars on a rumor Berkshire Hathaway's MidAmerican Energy division is interested in the company. Though MidAmerican has acquired solar projects and provides installation services, buying a Chinese solar module maker would be off the beaten path. [View news story]
This price jump makes no sense...China banks are taking 50% loss provisions on loans to Suntech and March 2013 bonds are trading at 26 cents on dollar. Even if BH did buy this company, why would shareholders get anything?

  • Is It Finally Time To Short U.S. Treasury Bonds? [View article]
" I truly felt that the fundamental fair value of the stock basing on its financials were $6."

Not to pile on, but how could you take Longwei's numbers as fact when so many other reverse merger Chinese companies proved to be frauds? Especially after you dropped your coverage of LLEN after it appeared that they were lying in SEC filings.

  • The Supreme Court's Upcoming Decision Could Push Star Scientific Higher [View article]
    Adam,

Do you have an update on Star Scientific? The stock is down ~30% since you published this article...do you still believe a settlement will act as a catalyst for stock price? So far, the market says no...even after RAI dropped the appeal, the stock has tanked.

"Now, another catalyst is coming up: the Supreme Court's decision against RJ Reynolds' (RAI) appeal, which is likely to quickly lead to a settlement agreement with Star. I believe that this expected news isn't priced into Star Scientific's share price yet..."

  • China Valves Technology: A Closer Look At Recent Developments And Business Outlook [View article]
"Any SEC filing from any company in the world can be deceiving!! It's regulators job to identify this before the public get caught in a fraud, right?"

You can't trust the regulators to stock fraud...they have failed over and over again. If you want to be a smart investor, you should do your own due diligence and not rely on the SEC. So far, you have promoted three Chinese reverse mergers (CVVT, GURE, NEP)...Most likely they are all frauds...The regulators have done a horrible job in protecting investors from these RTOs.

    Richard X Roe,

Good work challenging the legitimacy of CVVT...As evidenced by Islam Herzallah's last Chinese reverse merger promotion, NEP (halted), SEC filings for these companies can be deceiving.
