I went to college aiming to major in history, attend law school and become a lawyer. After finishing my history degree, I attended law school and after my first year wondered what I was doing - I have no desire to practice law. During my second year I started taking courses in financial markets and transactions. I was hooked, unfortunately it was only after I finished law school, took the bar, and was admitted that I read Benjamin Graham's Intelligent Investor. Nonetheless, I have been a voracious student of any value investing information I can get my hands on - Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, Whitney Tilson, Marty Whitman, Bruce Berkowitz, etc. My goal is to be able to provide for my family as a full time investor. Now, as Thoreau said, it is time build the foundations under my dreams.
