Carbon Sciences' CO2 to Fuel: How Real Is It? [View article]
Perhaps they can engineer a microb that will breed other microbs who bascially eat carbon and crap something that can be burned. I thinks its worth a shot. Yogurt bascially is made the same way yes! I love yogurt. By products from coal burning such as flyash are used as a cement substitute. Trying to use the derivatives or byproducts from primary sources of energy is not only environmentally friendly but also just plain economically smart. Love that free market! I was looking for FRANK THE COMBINE from the move Cars for my kids the other day. Well to my amazement PIXAR and DISNEY haven't made a die cast version of one of my kids favority characters. Sometimes you just have to wonder why people can't see the easiest things. So I go on EBAY an there is a guy who is making his own version and selling it. It looks good to. The point is the free market works. Government would never step in and make Frank the Combine. Now I realize that the company mentioned above might actually get govt grants etc... My overall point though still stands. What the company is doing is a good thing. However if Carbon every really becomes a serious problem someone in the free market will deal with it pronto if they can sell it. Converting Carbon into something that can be sold will work.
