  • An End To Our Relationship With Yahoo, A New Era For Equity Research [View article]
It really doesn't make make much difference what you do... the trash you put on SA makes anything you put out worthless... When they say "don't believe anything you read on the internet" it personifies SA in spades... If you are intimitaly familiar with a stock and then read an article about it on SA you realize how poorly the writers research the their so called "work"... Unfortunately, many of them are not a "work", they are a hit piece... for which they have probably been paid to post... Sad commentary...

    Narrow Focus...

It's amazing how easy it is to write a piece like this when you only use the aspects of a company that fit your mind set to make your point... My money is on this guy being short and didn't write this to inform you of his version of fiction, but in hopes of drop in PPS...

  • Tesla: Be Ready For A Massive Crash [View article]
The author lost all credibility when he wrote of UNXL:

"So, what killed UniPixel? It's simple. The company itself is well known for delays and promises that don't pan out, so the minute that it looked as though Uniboss may not have the huge rollout that was expected, the product experienced delays, and other doubts began to surface (a good overview is found here), the shares predictably cratered as reality did not match expectations."

True, the price had run up, but the fall as due primarily to the hatchet job by "shorts" articles in SA and Barrons... Totally short on fact and long on fiction...

If our author uses this baseless information to support his bases for this article, it's just as bad...

Having followed UNXL for the past six months, I think it is amazing that Seeking Alpha would post an article as poorly fact checked as this one (oops, sorry, facts in their articles are not necessary)...

  • Dividend Growth Investors: You Got To Do The Work [View article]
Hi Bob, I follow your posts and believe you provide great advise to this segment of Dividend Investors... However as a HIgh Dividend Investor my portfolio is constantly monitored and evolving... My buy in currently is at > 8%, with a target total portfolio yield of > 10%... My RNF, my lowest, currently yields about 6% and that's because it has had a > than 30% growth since purchase... Largest holdings: NTI, DCIX, TWO (and TWO only because their have been a large number of insider buys over the past several years and no sales). Current portfolio projected yield is > 15% annually. I will say, this only works if you are willing to put in the time and effort...
