  • Apple: iPhone Fingerprint Reader Means Government Business [View article]
Can the author explain how does a fingerprint reader make communications more secure? The MIT researchers who recently concluded that the only really secure internet communication technology's patents going into the future belong to BlackBerry, must be humbled by yet another stroke of wheel-reinventing genious by Apple.

You can only hope that the street will not see through this stunt.

  • Apple's 5C Coming: BlackBerry Better Hurry [View article]
Funny how rumours of Apple producing a lesser iPhone due to poor performance gets spinned into another great Apple story. I agree with a previous poster: it'd better be good.

  • Is Apple Such A Lousy Business? Mr. Market Wrongfully Thinks So [View article]
Ten years ago Apple epitomised the rebellion against the ubiquity and the end-user manipulations of Microsoft. Apple has now become a huge corporation that overprices -admittedly very high quality- products. Apple has created an ecosystem. You buy music from Apple. You buy films from Apple. Your music library misteriously shrinks unless you bought from Apple.
Apple has lost some of its former appeal. At 400 USD a pop, Apple shares -admittedly also a very high quality product- have become as unattainable as their products. In today's climate, the rebellious image of hyperactive teenagers with ragged jeans and blue t-shirts selling overprized items is as odd as the ridiculously cheap prices of the company's stock.
