I meant to ask, are Statoil and Hess testing deeper benches at this point do you know?
On a side note, it looks like a lot of those deeper benches were done on 2560 acre spacing (which makes sense) and I bet a lot of non-operating interests went non consent in those early wells.

Mike, I agree that TPLM is very well managed, but a few questions on your thesis:
1. How good does the Station Prospect have to be for your thesis to work out. Southwestern drilled a crappy well just near part of the prospect. Tons of water little oil. 2. According to Baker Hughes quarterly call, pressure pumping has 25% excess capacity nationwide and 300 drilling rigs would have to come online to absorb the excess horsepower. Is Rockpile getting other work outside TPLM important to your thesis?
I don't know if I would say 20% downside at all. My point is that any rally will be capped and I wouldn't expect new highs until that's resolved. And it won't be without a bunch of drama.
Michael, personally I don't think the fiscal cliff is the biggest problem. Rather, it's the debt ceiling f the fiscal cliff is playing out this way, watch out for the debt ceiling because hostages will be taken once again. The market will start to focus on that (to the extent it isn't already) and any upside will be capped...in my opinion anyway. That said, I am always a fan of your writing.
The iPhone 5 will support 4G LTE networks in both the U.S. and international markets, sources tell the WSJ. Apple (AAPL) has been widely expected to include LTE support in its next-gen iPhone, given growing deployments from top carriers and the fact most rival devices now support LTE. Apple's move could help U.S. LTE coverage leader Verizon grab share, and increase the value of the chip content provided by iPhone suppliers Qualcomm (QCOM) and Skyworks (SWKS). [View news story]
CHL contract isn't far behind. That should be good for a serious BUMP.
Syria's civil war escalates in the wake of today's bombing deaths of three top military and security officials including Pres. Assad's brother-in-law, and analysts say the fighting could spill into the oil market. The fall of Assad could increase ally Iran's sense of isolation and encirclement, prompting it to test a nuclear device and lead to skyrocketing oil prices. [View news story]
What makes you think Iran is currently capable of testing a nuclear device?
Entrepreneurs and business owners take note, President Obama says: "If you've got a business - you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." The comment, made at a speech the President gave at an appearance in Roanoke, Virginia recently, has gone viral, with the internet swamped with images of the President telling innovators such as the Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison, Steve Jobs and others "they didn't build that." Kevin Costner's famous line in "Field of Dreams," parodies Obama: "If you build it... we'll still say you didn't really build it." [View news story]
How about this from Romney. Seems like he recognizes as much. http://bit.ly/LyCbKI#!
