  • Balance Sheets Mean Little To Green Economy Stocks: Why I Hate Book Value Analysis  [View article]
We have the administration commit to another 4B$ to renewables and we have the Chinese government once again committing to cleaning up the air and renewables. I really don't think that Wagners opinion on who and what exactly raises temperatures has anything to do with their decisions at this point. It is simply called the future and the future has a vision and the vision is bringing a big change in the energy sector. Robert, everything you say lacks any sort of vision to begin with, you are grasping at straws to continue the past while standing on a sinking ship you will use quotes and references in blind lack of order, out of desperation rather than to make a point.

  • New Yingli Fund Evokes Shades Of Suntech  [View article]
"I wrote earlier this week about troublesome signs for the solar panel sector's fledgling recovery after a revenue warning from Trina"

There was no revenue warning, they said that some of their Q1 shipments are delayed. Revenue in fact should go up.

Installing 50GW this year is what you call a "fledgling" recovery?

You don't think that the dramatic fall in panel prices had anything to do with the downfall of STP ??

You pretend to be sincere and to be pointing towards real problems while in reality you are quite twisted.
Didn't you also write about STP making a comeback of some sort just a few weeks before it went bankrupt, when in fact everybody knew it would go down? I recall that article being trashed by comments as probably the worst investment advice of the decade.

  • Department of Energy plans to offer $4B in loan aid for renewable energy  [View news story]
I look at the building code of Los Angeles and see an absolute nightmare for anybody who would like to make the slightest change to their OWN property while it seems perfectly permissible and ok with society to receive subsidized electricity from some far away powerplant instead of having some solar panels installed to power at least the AC units that purr every day on the roofs of millions of homes, warehouses and office buildings! There should be constant financing for projects that for example cover the freeways with solar panels and use that electricity for public transportation etc. After every 10 years out of a pool of promising projects, the winners should be picked and developed further, the losers should be changed or abandoned. The fact that most buildings in the Los Angeles area use absolutely no solar is insane.

  • Yingli forming $161M solar plant JV  [View news story]
I wonder if "Deutsche Bank" took that deal into consideration when they felt inclined to tell us the China "May" not be able to fill their 14GW goal this year.
All these speculative articles from Barrons Shuli Ren etc. are a big joke. The bottom line is that China is obviously committed to Solar and fact is that China does not move billions into solar because they want to green. They obviously see a future with it and they are banking on it. Who cares if they install 14 or 12 or 16GW this year, what matters is the big picture, the trend is clear and the stock price will reflect that trend.

  • Strategy For 2014 Solar Portfolio: Consistent Value Generation, Pt. II  [View article]
I agree, I think we will see some steady upwards trend until october/ november from now on. Not as much increase as last year but we should see some promising numbers from now on.

  • Review Of Trina Solar's Q1 2014 Guidance  [View article]
Those are the funniest comments I think, when we hear that China or Europe won't be able to afford solar because of their debt to GDP ratio. They will still spend money and lots of it even when in debt, especially when their rising pollution costs them even more, no worries there.

  • Trina Warning Foreshadows Solar Gloom  [View article]
These are exactly the same stories that went around last year, the exact same worries. Those stories hit every few months and shake things up a bit but are completely forgotten within 2 weeks and have no lasting impact as we see in reality solar installations have consistently been beating expectations.
I do have to include Dougs articles in that category of hot air. I have rarely seen him in the comment section engaging in productive discussions, he throws out statements that have most of the time been complete misrepresentations of the facts.
SA is lagging on reflecting real news quickly while it features writers who are less and less worth reading. SA's credit rating is dropping I have to say.

  • Review Of Trina Solar's Q1 2014 Guidance  [View article]
I would say JKS has been dipping quite a bit already .... if the market holds I would say its definitely time to buy. See what happened last year after passover. Before April it would go up and down between 5 and 10 several times, driving investors crazy, but after the middle of april last year it turned into a steady climb. If the market holds up I would think something similar could happen again this year.

  • JA Solar pops on Q1 guidance hike  [View news story]
I think we can expect Jaso and JKS to increase significantly within the next month. When comparing the current trend to last year, we also had the "Barron's" and the overblown warnings on China demand while in reality all forecasts were exceeded. When a Barron's article gets more attention than a UN report or a Solar Buzz statement of record shipments during Q1 then we know that the upswing is coming eventually.

Fact is that people die, does that make it ok to kill somebody?

yes climate has been changing over millenniums but its still not ok for us to simply pollute the planet in whatever way possible just because the climate changes anyways. Your argument is not logical and it is full of holes, thats why nobody can argue against you. If you keep saying the sky is yellow then so be it for you, if you find your facts to support that claim then there is nobody who can change that. You can not refute something illogical with logic.
People who claim dinosaurs were around 4000 years ago can not be convinced otherwise. You say climate change is natural therefore its ok to rape the earth and keep burning and polluting, well what can anybody say to that? It stinks thats all there is to it and to keep going makes it stink more, you want that???
