  • Balance Sheets Mean Little To Green Economy Stocks: Why I Hate Book Value Analysis [View article]
yep good ol' solid and safe frackin', that will get them republicans senate and presidency guaranteed!! :)
The good ol' days , yeah...

"If Republicans first hold the House and take the Senate in 2014 and then take the Whitehouse in 2016, investors would be wise to sell "green economy" stocks and invest in traditional, reliable, proven, safe, self-sufficient old school energy companies and new-technology fracking companies."

If this were to be true, then this would be one of the reasons why the republicans are not going anywhere in the near future. I would like to see a republican candidate running for office with the notion that climate change is all a hoax. Even Fox would have problems with that !

  • JinkoSolar: Mr. Market Demonstrates His Insanity [View article]
Any group of institutions who own a combined 10 plus million shares of this stock can easily manipulate that stock. It has been an incredible momentum stock for years now so everybody who has been trading it knows that once it starts to slide, it will slide big, which in turn scares everybody away from big gains as everybody knows it will slide again.
Tariff issues need to be solved and solar needs to become a solid mainstream source of energy. Nowadays whenever some home made "scientist" proclaims that global warming isn't real or that Chinese companies cheat on their accounting, everybody runs for the exit.

  • The Truth About JinkoSolar's Earnings [View article]
Once the international trade issues clear up and JKS proves its ability to make money for several more Quarterly returns we will no doubt see some serious upside. 40 to 50$ should be a conservative estimate.
The current 25% fluctuations in JKS stock price is nothing unusual at all.

    I am quoting you:

"That is all I get. People that don't even try to refute the skeptic's position. That article you are referring to has some very specific challenges. I, and everyone reading this discussion, now knows that you choose not to refute them, but to run from the challenge. Don't worry, you aren't the first, and you won't be the last."

I couldn't have said it better, you clearly are not willing to look at the logic here but are now once again attempting to end this discussion with cheap insults.

Robert, I am no expert and you are no expert, therefore its no use for us to get into a heated climate change discussion, but I can apply basic logic, the logic goes like this:

We are currently overly dependent on a finite source of fuel which will not only run out but is also polluting our planet causing millions of deaths annually http://bbc.in/1eQRD20

As an alternative we have a nuclear fusion furnace blasting in the sky with everlasting energy supply guaranteed to outlast us and which will greatly diminish pollution. There is no other way for us than to eventually utilize that source of energy. Now we are at a point in time where PV technology is economically viable and financially on par with other energy suppliers in a growing part of planet earth. (please lets not get into the subsidy aspect as we all know that nuclear etc. is subsidized as well).

It is common sense logic that we will draw substantial amounts of energy from the sun in the near future, this has nothing to do with who is at fault regarding climate change, this is just basic math.

You are attempting to support your point by proving that we are not causing climate change but you completely ignore that fossil fuels are finite that millions of people die from it every year and that wars are being fought over it etc etc. even if everything you say is true, it would still not change any of the above.

Roberts pathetic claims are making SA's solar articles pathetic political BS. We don't get truly informed info from Solar Buzz or PV magazine but we hear from Robert Wagner all over the place who obviously gets his "science" from a right wing fossil fuel side of things and is more interested in making insane claims rather than actually trying to be objectively informed. None of his claims are backed up by respectable sources and he just keeps repeating his pathetic statements from Russias Diesel powered tanks causing WW3 because of solar and wind power etc.
SA better get a grip on this situation.

We are dealing with a guy who is saying that Solar and wind power are causing WW3 as we speak, he may in any second burst out that Dinosaurs roamed the earth 4000 years ago and that the universe was created in 7 days.
This article and everything he says are all a big joke ... :)

  • Strategy For 2014 Solar Portfolio: Consistent Value Generation, Pt. II [View article]
Thank you for a well written article.

The current movement of the stock reminds me of when it was stuck between 5 and 10$ for a long time, shooting up to 10 only to drop all the way back down to 5. Eventually it broke out and then it saw tremendous climb. The numbers would support such a movement again, a upwards movement which I think will come once the slow first quarter reports will be digested. We still have a few months of drag ahead of us on JKS I think.
