A chunk of their success stems from selecting F-Squared as a sub-advisor to a number of their funds. F-Squared follows that old Will Rogers sentiment: "People keep offering me a return on my principal. I want a return OF my principal." That's F-Squared's baliwick, as their track record demonstrates with them finding their way to 100% cash in 2002 and 2008. The same thing that costs other fund managers clients is generating clients for F-Squared. Few investors have a long enough time horizon to live through 50% losses.
