  • Wal-Mart Or Amazon? Who Will Be The Winner? [View article]
I would not bet against WMT in the retail space. They keep building core relationships and a lot like McDonalds a lot of real estate ....Location...Locatio... will knock the doors off on "promotional" selling which will be not related to "value of item " sales but "inventory" based selling. Get a clue. A problem I have with Amazon is that they sell products that are knock offs or made somewhere else and if you don't find out who is making the product they are selling you end up with a cheaper "got ya" than ya bargained for. For instance "the little giant ladder" which is USA based but Amazon sells a Chinese knock off. I have also read of other such aspects of their business that is not so cool. Selling Kindle books that don't have the photos the hard copies have in the books sold.

If you'd never been born, well then what would you do?
If you'd never been born, well then what would you be?
Why, you might be a WASN'T!
A Wasn't has no fun at all. No, he doesn't.
    A Wasn't just isn't. He just isn't present.
But you...You ARE YOU! And, now isn't that pleasant!
    -- Dr. Seuss

Did someone say there was "no medicine" for your problem?

I think it quite humorous the hubris and downfall of the arrogant as it crumbles to dust and the senior and disabled and the poor subside and the young are devoured by the conglomerate enslavers. The purpose is to make money on the collapse of a civilization and the handing over to an elite master. Welcome to apocalypse now. Controlled deconstruction and subservitude.

  • Regaining And Maintaining Trust In Digital Realty [View article]
My dad always said , money is made at the buy price but in the stock market there are those who make money at the sell price. I still believe in the long run that if you can buy at the lowest price that is where some really good money is made in the long term if the company is honest or the business is honest or the accounting is honest and there are honest reports of all the fundamentals. Eventually the truth wins out.

GM? now that was a big "transfer"...LOL<I will state for the record it is the proverbial "accounting Mumbo Jumbo Dance"> Lol! print the dollar ...er, "deflate" the debt. Politicians doing the non bi partisan "Tango" or "Pasa Doble"! and the who do we defund or who pays us? It is all very humorous and yet the "redistribution" and raising and lowering of economies and pegging and unpegging ...etc..etc.... It would all be quite humorous were it not for the lives at stake. Tin roofs and thatched houses and no toilets...and it ain't just "Amish" I speak of. Oh, well, isn't it all about "Trust"? Modes of exchange of well "perception"? I guess most folks don't really get that.

They keep buying hotels and such. Looks like they are becoming landlords of a lot of property. Think maybe they will make some money off that or are they just doing it for "grins"?

Personally, I don't see the worlds "free floating" currencies returning to a gold standard anytime soon. I would assume if it did world wide chaos and degradation would ensue helter skelter. But, who knows? I am no economist. For the moment the dollar is still the worlds reserve currency.

Thank you again for bringing another bargain to my consider! I also believe the goal is toward "affordable" housing for everyone on the planet. Perhaps some of that would alleviate some of the stresses of the world. In some countries it is a dirt floor, no toilet and no running water. Always counting my blessings as I live life.

I like the "socially liberal" -"fiscally conservative" comment. I think we need to allow for more and plan along those lines. It truly would make the world a better place. But, getting people to see the actual value of that is rather troublesome. Our world has a long way to go in realizing this politically, religiously and fiscally.
