I have need with the company I work at for 34 years and only in recent time with the urging of my fiancé have I been buying stocks. I am focused on dividend payers as a way to protect the principle and use the dividends to live off of in retirement. I am less than two years away from retirement, retiring at age 60. I have a fantastic paying job so when I pull the retirement card out I need to be sure of my finances afterwards. I like to read the articles but writers need to remember that there are newbys out there and while they need to write for the advanced investor, be aware of those starting out.....
