Well the descending triangle assumption was correct and since it broke support today it suggests this will go lower (sadly). BBRY did the same thing around the $14 range while creating a descending triangle around support when people thought it couldnt go lower and quickly broke support and went to $10 and then slowly went down to $6 - $7 area. So broken support that was formed on a descending triangle is very dangerous (profitable for shorts). Really dont want to lose 30% in 3 days on my Jan 2014 $475 calls but I feel I should sell and get back in the options later. Any opinions on the topic would be appreciated.

If I straight bought shares I would continue to average down.

I bought some $475 jan 2014 calls yesterday. Fundamentally I am satisfied with the company and technically I am as well but I am afraid of a possible descending triangle taking place to go along with the $420 support.

I have been buying STM up lately, and have been a past owner of both MT and SI. It should be noted that there is serious upside to all of these stocks but they are european so that risk must also be noted.

Take a look at STM, it is the SVU of the tech world (value and dividend). The semi's are getting tossed around, but this tech company is very well spread out across applications and should be just fine in the long run. I can see it coming down more (I kind of want it to) but that will just make the dividend more juicy.
