I read Andrew's every report. What I especially like about his service is that he gives information about stocks that correlate to specific commodity prices. This is great for people who don't really want to trade commodities directly. For example, SCCO stock tends to follow copper prices. After he reported on it, I bought that stock and made enough profit to more than pay for his service for a year. VLO, SOYB, and WY are other examples. Very helpful!!
The great insights and details of each commodity from Mr.Hecht helps me making my investing decisions in commodities. He reads out what he is doing with his trades along with his opinion on the direction the commodity heading, which is very helpful.
The Hecht Commodity Report is extremely beneficial to anyone that is involved in commodities ! I have been involved with futures for over 25 years and this report is a great benefit. You can use this information and advise for futures as well as ETF or stocks. This report is a must have ! I highly recommend it and is worth every penny and more !

I impatiently wait every week for the Hecht Commodity report to be out so to have up an expert view on the current market situation and to confirm existing opportunities. The report has lots of good and weekly updated information and I relatively get, among other, precise, sincere and heartfelt readings and recommendations of the commodity markets. I believe the report more than cover essential materials investors require. Although if possible, it would be great if we (as subscribers) can get, in-between the weekly issuance of the report, brief observations’ updates on major changes, deviations or events happening and noted in the markets.
Every week, Andy shows his next level knowledge of commodities market which will add value to (and profits) to anybody who is active in the market. He has insights that one can only gain from being involved in markets for 4 decades.
Andy writes very well and his reports are organized, detailed and well researched. Trading ideas are presented along with risk management suggestions. As described, this is a terrific report to, "Take advantage of the opportunities in this highly volatility asset class”.
If you trade commodities, Andrew Hecht's weekly trading recommendations in his premium service can bolster your confidence and enhance your profit potential. Hecht distills complex subjects into terse, easy-to-understand sentences. He surveys the major commodities and gives his weekly trading recommendation for each of them. Though one can read his weekly advisory in a few minutes, one may profitably spend additional time pondering his thoughtful, nuanced recommendations and their implications.
If, like me, you are primarily a stock investor rather than a commodity trader, Hecht's advisories are no less valuable. I was initially drawn to his public advisories primarily because I believed that we were in the early stages of a new commodity-led bull market cycle. I had benefited from investments in commodity related stocks and I wanted to understand their underlying businesses better. Reading Hecht was like viewing an Xray: He took me behind the scenes and fleshed out the larger picture of various commodity components. I learned new things: For instance, Hecht explained that a key to the prior success of my investment in Bunge was the "synthetic soybean crush spread or the margin for crushing raw soybeans into soybeans oil and meal." Andrew confirmed some beliefs I already held. For example: I had concluded that we were entering a bond bear market. Andrew amplified and confirmed my views in his 12/21/16 item, "A Steamroller Going Down Hill - How Low Can Bonds Go?"
These are but examples of the rich store of insights and suggestions that await in Hecht's prolific writings. Given my opinion that a commodity bull market is well underway, I believe that Andrew Hecht's contributions will prove to be among the most timely in Seeking Alpha over the next few years.
I like the detailed insight Andrew offers weekly. Sometimes it's against the mainstream thoughts. I do appreciate his unique angle.
What is your view about the forecast of a min-Deal between US China trade dispute before March 1?
Ive really enjoyed this service. I use it to confirm trades and I appreciate the perspective and opinions. Its great that it is diverse. Usually I only follow a couple of commodities but its nice to know I can expand when and if I want. Very happy with the service.
think he should concentrate on a few commodites seems like his outlook is always cautious. which is good with commodity market, but very few strong plays. his research is awesome on the 20 he follows but gives very few strong plays. He sure does his homework and kinda feels like u make the call. Thanks
