Below are some comments from Image Entertainment's (OTC:DISK) from its
February 10, 2005 conference call with investors.

On Egami Media (DISK’s subsidiary focused on digital distribution)

…. there is a new expanding universe beyond prepackaged media.….Egami will identify end acquire third party rights for all forms of digital distribution….ring tones, video tones, streaming, downloads and video on demand…an explosive business which is accelerating each month domestically and internationally.

On competition from the major studios:

….the market has gotten very, very competitive.….the major studios are trying to figure out a way to go out and acquire independent product….they have difficulties inbred in their system….they are a major studio and they also compete with a lot of independent programming

On Hip-Hop and other music compilations:

we have the Hip-Hops Hits compilations which have done very well. The nice thing about compilations is….when you release the latest compilation it helps sell the previous compilation…it does not go stale.

On horror flicks:

…..that space has done very well. Lion's Gate in its early days did very, very well with it, still does…[LGF] has stepped up their game with the acquisition of Artisan… [LGF] would like to take the place that MGM is leaving….what that does is create somewhat of a vacuum….for low-budget scare the heck out of you kinds of horror genre films…. we can gain a name and a reputation for good stuff in that market and very credible product for the rentailer
