Brookfield Residential Properties - 'Loonie' Limited

For my American friends that have experienced the ups and downs of the housing market over the last number of years, I want to share with you what has transpired North of the 49th parallel.

Despite the difficulties in the US, and the Eurozone debt levels, the Canadian economy has been relatively stable.

(click to enlarge) With much the same catalyst for a housing boom (mostly an availability of easy credit), Canada experienced significant growth over the last two decades.

It would seem Canada is a model of efficiency, especially if you listen to any federal policymaker! The truth is that the Canadian economy is far from the Rock of Gibraltar that it's claimed to be.
