Cramer's Lightning Round - Don't Compound The Pain With Peabody (9/3/13)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Tuesday September 3.

Bullish Calls:

Joy Global (NYSE:JOY): "If you need coal, go to Joy Global. Our charitable trust owns it, but it is joyless right now."

Hertz Global Holdings (NYSE:HTZ): "Stick with it. A lot of people were disappointed with that quarter. They think the competition is too great ... it has had a rally, it is marking time, but it will go again."

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL): "Apple is fine. It is inexpensive. I don't have a catalyst, but it's okay."

Isis Pharmaceuticals (ISIS): "Forget the takeover talk. It is a good stock on its own. We are encouraged by it. You can own it."

Bearish Calls:

Peabody (NYSE:BTU): "My charitable trust has enough hurt with Joy Global. You don't need to compound the pain."
