Cramer's Lightning Round - We Bought A Ton Of Facebook (9/12/13)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Thursday September 12

Bullish Calls:

Facebook (NASDAQ:FB): "This is a large position in our charitable trust. We bought a ton of this thing. We want to scale out of some eventually, but we think it is going to go higher, because about 50% of its business will be in mobile, and it will make a lot of money in mobile. FB goes higher."

EOG Resources (NYSE:EOG), Anadarko (NYSE:APC), Sanchez (NYSE:SN): Cramer prefers these stocks to Newfield.

Statoil (NYSE:STO): "There is a management change. You buy it because you want capital preservation. I will bless this one, but it is not a fast grower like EOG."

InterMune (NASDAQ:ITMN): "We've been liking the small molecule therapeutic stocks, but we recognize they are hugely speculative. As long as you recognize it is speculative, we will bless it."

Jack In The Box (NASDAQ:JACK): Cramer prefers JACK to LightinTheBox.

Bearish Calls:

Annaly (NYSE:NLY): "We are saying ixnay on Annaly ... we don't really know what they own. We don't know about the taper. We've been right to avoid it and will continue to avoid it."

Newfield Exploration (NYSE:NFX): "It was the largest gainer in S&P 500 yesterday (but Cramer prefers Sanchez, EOG and Anadarko)."

LightinTheBox (NYSE:LITB): "I don't recommend Chinese stocks. We don't want LightinTheBox, we want Jack In The Box."
