Cramer's Lightning Round - I'm Steadfast On The Airlines (10/18/13)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Friday October 18.

Bullish Calls:

USAirways (LCC): "I do like USAirways. I've been steadfast on the airlines. I would have gotten more aggressive if USAir had been able to merge with American Airlines. I hope that goes through the Justice Department. I'd be more bullish."

Target (NYSE:TGT): "I like Target. I think retail has been oversold. That is a good one."

Ruth's Hospitality Group (NASDAQ:RUTH), Yum Brands (NYSE:YUM): "I think it works. The steak joints are coming back. It is not my favorite, it is up on a spike, but it works. Yum is coming back too."

Bearish Calls:

Advanced MicroDevices (NASDAQ:AMD): "People thought it was going to be a gaming quarter, but it was a PC quarter. People were expecting a breakout quarter, and they didn't get one."

Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV): "I don't like that one (Cramer prefers USAirways)."
