Centamin Expanding Into Burkina Faso

Centamin (OTCPK:CELTF) is a junior gold miner with a producing asset in Egypt. The company has been managing country risk very well and has outperformed peers throughout the recent period of gold price correction.

On December 10, Centamin announced its intention to take over Ampella Mining (OTCPK:APMZF), a junior exploration company listed in Australia and developing a large gold project in Burkina Faso. We have been observing the progress of this particular junior explorer for some time now and would like to offer our observations for Centamin investors.

Centamin has been overdue for geographical diversification. The company has a strong balance sheet and the ability to bring Ampella's Batie West project into production...
