Cramer's Lightning Round - Tenet Has Made Its Move (12/11/13)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Wednesday December 11.

Bullish Calls:

Avery Dennison (NYSE:AVY): "I think it is a terrific company. You should be a buyer."

Hertz Global (NYSE:HTZ): "I like it. HTZ had some pricing issues. You want to hold it for multiple years. It is an inexpensive stock."

Geron (NASDAQ:GERN): "As long as you know it is speculative, I will bless it. Geron is not my favorite stock, but it is okay to speculate with."

Melco Crown Entertainment (MPEL), Las Vegas Sands (NYSE:LVS): "MPEL is good. I like Las Vegas Sands even more. The numbers for the sector are good. MPEL is a winner, but LVS is an even bigger winner."

Alexion (NASDAQ:ALXN): "We like this. We think the stock is good. The group has been under pressure, and it has been down the last couple of days."

Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD): "It almost doubled, it came back down, and the quarter was bad, but I still believe in it."

NPS Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:NPSP): "That is good. Management has a long-term growth plan."

Bearish Calls:

Tenet Healthcare (NYSE:THC): "I think the move has been made. I don't want to buy it. THC had a huge run on Obamacare. It is time to go elsewhere."

Gogo (NASDAQ:GOGO): "We liked the stock in the early $20s. It got overheated. You have to wait until it pulls back to the mid $20s."
