Cramer's Lightning Round - The Cheapest Stock in Cramer's Portfolio (3/2/10)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the lightning round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Tuesday March 2.

Bullish Calls:

Weatherford International (NYSE:WFT): "...because this stock is really right now by far, the cheapest driller there is… So I think Weatherford should be bought, and bought aggressively right here, right now for $16 and change… it is the cheapest stock in the ActionAlertsPlus portfolio."

Terra Nitrogen (NYSE:TNH), Potash (POT): "I happen to know that group… I know the yield… but remember, the one that I have been recommending now is Potash... I kind of switched… I think TNH is a great ag play, I want to stick by that… but POT has got the momentum…"

Prudential Public Limited Companies (NYSE:PUK): "The one that bought AIG? I think that makes a lot of sense… you know I am glad that somebody asked about that, because I have got to tell you that that business is absolutely fabulous… the stock has come down, obviously you have got to pay a lot of money for it… but I think that business was worth a lot more three years ago and it is a very safe business… I want to buy that… I was thinking about recommending that stock but now I just did… so that is what we will do."

ArcSight (ARST): "You know what?... If I am going to do that internet security, I am going to still go with ArcSight… that one has got more momentum and more growth than your Symantec."

Bearish Calls:

Zhongpin (NASDAQ:HOGS): "...that is a Chinese company which puts me in the 'don’t buy' camp … because every time I go buy an individual Chinese stock, I stumble… so I am not going to stumble for you… I am banning those stocks until I find one that I feel really, really comfortable with other than China Unicom, (NYSE:CHU)."

Symantec (NASDAQ:SYMC): "I am not going to go with Symantec."
