RetailMeNot And The Changing World Of Digital Coupons

People lumping together RetailMeNot (NASDAQ:SALE) and Groupon (NASDAQ:GRPN) are suffering from the "to a man with a hammer everything looks like a nail syndrome." In a nutshell, Groupon's model has benefited customers enormously while RetailMeNot's approach provides benefits to both retailer and customer. Put another way, CEO Cottor Cunningham has stated that "They (Groupon) help small companies give big discounts sporadically. We help big businesses give small discounts every day."
