by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Tuesday March 4.

Bullish Calls:

Exact Sciences (NASDAQ:EXAS): "We like diagnostics. We stuck out our necks. We were right, and they were wrong."

AT&T (NYSE:T), Verizon (NYSE:VZ): "AT&T is fine as a dividend stock. Verizon has better growth but doesn't have as high a yield. I like VZ."

Bearish Calls:

Arcos Dorados (NYSE:ARCO): "No way, we don't want to touch that stuff (unhealthy food stocks)."

Invesco Mortgage (NYSE:IVR): "I don't like these stocks ... this has got a good yield, but we don't know what they own and how they own it, so that is why I stay away from these."

Synovus (NYSE:SNV): "It is a mediocre bank. Everyone loves a $3 stock, but Synovus is not for me."
