Cramer's Lightning Round - Sysco Foods And U.S. Brands Are Creating A Powerhouse (4/29/14)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Tuesday April 29.

Bullish Calls:

  • Sysco Foods (NYSE:SYY): "Sysco foods is one of my absolute favorites, because it is merging with U.S. Foods to create a powerhouse, but because of (weakness in) restaurants, I don't expect a blowout quarter."
  • Manitowoc (NYSE:MTW): "If you want to be in that industry, I want to be in Manitowoc."
  • GT Advanced Technologies (GTAT): "That is a sapphire play on Apple. Apple has to do something with them for the stock to go to $20. If not, it will go to $10. It is a great spec."
  • Pfizer (NYSE:PFE): "I think it is terrific. It is doing a lot of right things. Pfizer is a great company to own, it has control over its own destiny and I like it right now."

Bearish Call:

  • Middleby (NASDAQ:MIDD): "This is the kind of company that has gotten way too momentum-oriented. If I want to be in that industry, I want to be in Manitowoc."
