by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Friday May 9.

Bullish Calls:

  • Sprint (NYSE:S): "You hold on to Sprint. I think it will merge with T-Mobile."
  • Alcoa (NYSE:AA): "It was upgraded today. It has been stalled. You wait for a pullback and buy."
  • Bristol Meyers (NYSE:BMY): "People did not like the delay in one of their key drugs, but when it goes under $49, it will be a gift. $49 is my buy price."

Bearish Calls:

  • Briggs & Stratton (NYSE:BGG): "I was bummed by that quarterly miss. BGG should have done better. I'm not going to say go for it."
  • HomeStreet (NASDAQ:HMST): "I like it. The stock has gotten hammered here, but because interest rates haven't gone higher, people don't like the stock."
