Did BreitBurn Get A Good Deal By Acquiring QR Energy?

On Thursday, BreitBurn Energy Partners (BBEP) announced an acquisition along with its quarterly earnings results. The company is buying QR Energy (NYSE:QRE) in a deal that is worth as much as $3 billion. The acquisition will be paid with stocks and the transaction will be rather simple since the two companies have similar share price (as of right now, BreitBurn's share price is roughly $22 and QR Energy's share price is close to $21 after it jumped in double-digits as a result of the announcement).
